This delightful cider is unique in two ways. The first is that it has no carbonation, this style of cider allows you to really focus on the flavor and mouth feel of the cider and brings us to the second way this cider is unique. Dungeness Orchard Blend is made with over 70 varieties of apples picked in the Dungeness Orchard. On the label you will find a card listing every one!

pours a still deep yellow with clarity. has a great aroma which yields both sweaty orchard notes and a mouthwatering tartness. there’s a pinch of strawberry in there, too. first sensation is a mild acidity which coats the palate, followed by a nice tannic sensation which does not travel in to the overly astringent. vanilla notes are there, a sprinkle of spice, apple cobbler! i understand that the cider is still to accentuate the flavors, but overall a thinness exists which is the main negative here. enjoyable albeit a little overpriced for what it is.

500 ml bottle from the beer authority. Different bottle style than shown, capped rather than corked. Label reads "dungeness still, hard cider" and claims a blend of over 200 varieties.

Pours with quite a bit of sparkle; this one is actually a ways from still. Light gold, quite clear at least at the top of the bottle, catches the light beautifully. Wonderful apple nose, no fermentation off-products. Tons of apple flavor yet it’s quite dry, with white wine notes. Delicious stuff.

Bottle sampled at Alpenfire, pours a clear blonde with a few bubbles. Aroma brings out some light funk, some champagne yeast and medium dry apples. Flavour is quite wild and funky, with barnyard funk, dry apples, and puckering dry wheatiness. Low residual sugar. Quite complex. Excellent.

Bottle - Funky nose and light green apple.  Clear light gold.  Funky, light and a light dry finish.  Nice and easy drinking.
