22 oz bottle poured into a nonic pint glass. Bought during RBSG 2014 in June at TWCP. Bottled January 19, 2014. Hazy dark brown/ruby with at least 3 fingers of frothy off-white to light tan head. Head fades fairly quickly, nice retention leaving almost a finger of head. Aromas of coffee, vegetal notes, light cocoa. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, slight bitter notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation. Seems to have held up okay.

Pour is a brown with a large tan head. Aroma is some cocoa and a bit of coffee. Flavor is a strong bitter coffee with a kind of mellow chocolate malt. Finish is a bit thin but lots coffee flavor. An ok coffee beer but nothing like a KBS or others in that category. Worth a $3 bargain bin pickup.

Bomber. A good bit of red in this very dark beer and a beige head of 4 fingers. I smell coffee but not really roasted effects. Some dark chocolate. Both of those flavors are tasted. Beans, too. I also taste something like zest with that bitterness and it does not really work here. Then again, I rarely like zest. It arrived mid glass. The coffee begins to offer a smoky flavor and some citrus hops emerge. This became a little thin after warming. I guess this is what it says it is but it just did not grab and keep my attention.

Bottle from Wine and Cheese. Pours dark, mildly ruddy, brown with a beige head. Very coffee aroma. Med body or better. Flavor is lots of coffee with dark malt and a hint of chocolate. Quite good.

It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was medium roasted coffee and some alcohol. It was a medium to full bodied beer with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. The taste was medium roasted malts and coffee flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Nicely done.
