Sampled at their tasting room, thanks Derrick! It poured a mostly clear golden colour with sudsy white foam, spritzy little bubbles, and some nice Belgian lace. Grainy, grassy, low bitterness with a definite impression of fermented peaches but in a delicate way (not in the predictable syrupy peach soda way I’ve tasted so many times before.) Very tart, lightly acidic, a little funky (in a good way) but not overwhelmingly sour. A tasty fusion of Brett Brux with whatever wild yeasts and lactobacillus survived on the fruit skins. Delicious stuff, and perfect for summer. Recommended.
