Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Tom. Hazy and rather dark amber, white film. Unpleasant chewed bubblegum aroma, sour and pungent. Tastes like rotten fruit. Light body, sour finish, light carbonation.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Semi hazy copper body, white head. Aroma has some musky fruits, yeast, caramelly malt and some vomit when warms up. Thin and bit sour. Something that reminds cider. Watery.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330 ml bottle. Lot 145. BB 12/13. From teddybeer. ¡Muchas gracias José!
Cloudy amber colour with a tiny off-white head.
The aroma is strange. Fermented strawberries, sweet caramel malt, vomit and something medical in the aroma.
The flavour is very strange. Some strawberry, caramel malt, strange yeast and some alcohol. No hops. Very strange Amber Ale.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Like the previous Alpha beers this one too have floaties in the muddy hazy dark copper body with a super thick, sticky, lacy, lasting tan frothy, head. Smells strongly of toasted malt, sweet caramel and a general earthiness with IPA style citrus hops. With vanilla. Surprised how complex the nose is. Medium thin body with soft carbonation. Tastes of toasted malt and caramel but with some lemon zest and ripe fruit in the centre. Dark multigrain bread with soil. Sweet at first but then moves sort of sour and into bitter. A bit of unripness but overall interesting and complex. For 7.9% you can’t taste any alcohol. Defiantly the best I’ve had from the Alpha range though its still a bit disbalanced

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
22/11 0.33 l bottle @ La Birreria, Andorra La Vella. It poured muddy copper body with medium sized head. A bit stale fruity and caramel aroma, also yeasty. Flavor was sweetish, toasted malt, somewhat herbal hoppy but lost in yeast earthiness. It also dampened the body to thinner. At least alcohol was well hidden, a consumer asks himself is it still nearly around 8%. A messed up beer, not bad, but expected much more. Advice, for all their beers: try not to pour yeast with the rest, unlike usual.
