Bottled. - pale golden colour, fine head, spicy nose with a fruity touch, high carbonation, moderate malt body, the finish is quite dry and corny/spicy

Bottle. Hazy yellow color, small white coca-cola head. Aroma of lemon, apricot, peach. Taste is lemony straw. Little carbonation. Hmm.

75cl flip-top bottle, thanks Céccile for bringing it back from France, shared with Ajax25g.

Bottled. Nice colour, pleasant in mouth. A bit disapointed by the taste, i was hoping something more spicy. A good beer though.

Bottle. bottled stated that it needed to be consumed before January 08. Hmm. It certainly was not much of a itbeer. It poured with a much darker color, albeit with a nice head. Flavors and aroma both were dominated by sourness, some funkiness but not much else. perhaps that is close to an aged fantome? Certainly, some bacterial infection might have been present.

Swing top bottle(750ml). -bought all 4 Alphand beers in a local souvenir and liquor store in Risoul, Hautes Alpes, France. Costs ridiculous high 5.50€ per bottle. This one worth every cent that I’ve paid for it.
For sure the best Alphand beer. Hazy orange coloured, medium sized firm white head, perfumey fresh fruity and yeasty nose. The aroma is wheaty and fruity (lemon, orange, tangerine) with slight honey and spicy notes. Nice lemony acidity in the finish. Refreshing and highly enjoyable brew.

0.75l bottle courtesy of and shared with ozujsko (thanks!). This poured a hefeweizen like hazy orange colour with a medium to big sized head that went away slowly. It looked like a hefe but it sure smelled like a wit. Fruit yoghurty nose, hints of yeast, maybe bubblegum, bananas and brown sugar. Interesting, but not terribly pleasant. The taste was surprisingly nice. Yoghurty lacticity, pleasant and refreshing lemony acidity, heavy bubblegum. Overall, surprisingly pleasant. One of the best wits I’ve had. Guess both me and ozujsko will go against the grain.

Hazy blond color. Fruity aroma (peach). Strong taste. Smooth wheat, spicy, vegetable, light fuitness. Original, not exceptional.

Bottled. Cloudy amber. Spicy yeasty tangerine aroma. Sweet and fruity. Interesting and flavourful, but the body is a little mellow.
