Mads Langtved (2246), København K, Denmark Jul 27, 2006 Bottled, selled to me as a luxury beer. Cloudy orange appearance, no head. Dry peppery finish with some yeast notes. A standard blonnde ale.
ogivlado (2336), Zagreb, Croatia Jan 20, 2007 Swing top bottle(750ml). -bought all 4 Alphand beers in a local souvenir and liquor store in Risoul, Hautes Alpes, France. Costs ridiculous high 5.50€ per bottle. Cloudy yellow/orange coloured, small white head, fresh light citric nose. The aroma is malty, yeasty and slight hoppy with notes of apple and lemon. So far the best Alphand but I simply don’t like L&L beers. grant (760), Martinez, California, USA Mar 23, 2006 Cloudy golden tinged with orange. Aroma is corny yeasty and lightly spicy. Flavor is farily sweet, slightly nutty and full of vague fruit. Extremely light bitterness and a blase finish. Not in the least offensive, but boring. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 2, 2006 (Bottle 75 cl) Hazy amber with a small, white head. Vaguely floral nose. Rather light-bodied with a heavy carbonation. Notes of malt and overripe fruit - not really what you’d expect from a Blonde. Absolutely no hops. Thanks to Bierkönig 290106 Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 30, 2006 A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet dusty (from the hops) combined with notes of minerals. The flavor is sweet hoppy with a dry end, and with a thin body.
