riversideAK (1634), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jan 8, 2008 Updated: Jan 21, 2008 Light gold color with a thin white head. Aroma of floral hops and some bready malt. Flavor is much the same. It also reminded me of Sierra Nevada except not as good. Drinkable, but I like their bigger hoppier beers a lot better.
BMan1113VR (911), Los Angeles (and Dallas, TX), California, USA Aug 11, 2008 Pours with a large, rocky, off-white head covering a clear golden body. Aroma of floral hops and some malts. Taste is lightly malty, but very watery with some slight citrus bitterness. Dry mouthfeel, light bodied with some bubbles. Good with food, but not too interesting by itself. mgumby10 (1650), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Jun 15, 2008 Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a crystal clear straw gold color, with a small white head. Smells of lager yeast, some grain, and mild citrus fruits and hops. The flavor is a bit grainy, wit the very mild hops making a small appearance. Extrememely simple and easy drinking. Was pretty much used asa palate cleanser at a tasting. Nothing offensive, but about as boring as it gets without being bad. Taverner (479), San Ramon, California, USA May 20, 2008 Very bland, slightly sour and yeasty APA. No significant hop profile and a touch of bitterness. The florals are present, but in such a small amount, it takes work to really notice them. Pours a foamy yellowish gold with white head. WeeObese (9), San Diego, California, USA does not count Apr 28, 2008 Growler, Clear orange color with a nice white head. Light flowery hop aroma with malt comming second. Great malt flavor up front folowed by a nice hop bite, then a balanced malt and hop finish. Well balanced pale ale. Very drinkable. JorisPPattyn (4500), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 23, 2008 Draught Orange beer with small white head. Flowery nose, hops abundant. Dry, straightforward hoppiness. No explosion but just a good punch. Tangering peel. Slightly burning MF, very slight tartness. A good, if inadventurous APA.
