Growler from Brewery.
This is one Bad boy. I love this beer. Pours nice copper orange with a billowing white head. Huge hop aroma with a straight forward citrus, grapefruit and sweet malt. You can see the hop resin in this one. Taste is same with a nice bready malt, sweet tangerine hop and tropical notes all over the place. This is freaking awesome! Mouthfeel is thick with a nice hop resin feel on the tongue. This is my kind of DIPA!

Dec 10, 2007 Pours oily copper with a small white head. Sweet, floral aroma of tropical fruits, grapefruit, and sweet bread. Super-sweet resiny hops up front and throughout. Good amount of oranges, nectarines, and kiwi fruit flavors, but very little pine. Sticky caramel finish.

Aug 15, 2007 Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit aroma, but not that strong. Grapefruit and other tropical fruit flavors with backing malt. Hop flavor is there, bu tneeds more bitterness - very disapointing for an IIPA. Creamy mouthfeel. medium bodied. Not nearly enough lingering bitterness.

Aug 13, 2007 Draft at PP Carlsbad. Golden yellow color with a nice white head. Lots of apricot, pineapple, citrus aromas with touches of vanilla too. Flavors were similar with sweet malts to back it up. Floral flavors came through more as the beer wamed. Pretty good stuff.
