DenverLogan (369), Oceanside, California, USA May 1, 2008 Oh yeah...they did this one right also...great overal flavor...easy drinking...it may be a straight lambic but it tastes fruity from the wine barrels...and funky...great for a twist on the style. JorisPPattyn (4150), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 23, 2008 No head, orange beer with a metallic reflection. Very hard lambic nose, lactic, lemon, but also acetic, with some peeking phenols. Very lemony taste, some leathery Brett flavour. Tart as nothing else. Flat as a pancake - or an old lambic. Acidburn. In Belgium we would call this a harde lambic. But it is remarkably straightforward. badlizard (1284), San Diego, California, USA Apr 22, 2008 Bottle from brewery. Clear yellow with no head. Strong yellow aroma. Good tangy tart sour fruit taste with an oaky finish and some wine character lingering in the after taste. Very good. wetherel (796), Carlsbad, California, USA Apr 20, 2008 Let me buck the trend a little for this beer. Let me preface that, I almost always rate sours higher than everyone else by 0.1-0.2 (I think). Bought at the release. Opened at Dr Bills. Pale yellow color. Flat. No indication that this will be good or bad. Nice sour aroma of light acetic vinegar. Light, slightly lacto-slick mouthfeel, but not as much other sours. Some sweetness. Better than struiselensis. Delicious. Super duper drinkable. JohnC (1678), Mission Viejo, California, USA Apr 20, 2008 Bottle shared at Dr. Bill’s party. Thanks to whomever brought it.
Hazy yellow-ish pour, sour, with some citric notes.
