COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian Lambic aged in red wine barrels. Generous amounts of the tart montmorency cherry were added after 12 months of aging. Sour from lactic and acetic acids produced from special wild yeasts. A delicious tart, sour treat.

2012 version. ABV 7% Pours a dark cherry red with a pretty pink quilt. Smells...Fucking stinks. Jesus anal farts, diacetyl, feet, popcorn, rotten corn and a bit of pinot. This is one, if not the, most offensive smelling beers Iíve come across. Just a fucking abomination of a nose. So scared to taste it... Tastes real bad. Metal and fetid mushrooms and rotten sox rubbed on fungus infected ball sacks. Fucking nasty. Hella dry and thin with hi carb. Iím repulsed. Serving type: bottle 11-12-2012

Top 5 worst thing Ive ever eaten/drank. RIght up there with Blue Lady batch 37 and that Nestle crunch bar I ate when i was little without looking at it that was filled with maggots. Smells like rotten garbage and cherries(note the 3 for aroma). Taste is undrinkably awful. Rotten Blue cheese and gym socks. An odd mix of rotten sourness and salty bile. Gross.

Garnet color with small white head. Smells of vomit, literally. Taste is pretty nice, tart cherry a bit sweet. Good beer besides the aroma.

22oz bottle at CBC Clerkenwell, thanks to Paul! It pours a coppery red color with minimal white head. Aroma is exactly parmesan cheese, thatís it. And intense. Flavor is much better though: acetic, cherry, lightly funky. A bit of wood later. Then it shows cherry pit. Astringent. Sour. Mildly funky. Thatís the finish. Quite pleasant. Very tasty kriek, but what a pity for the aroma.

Bottle via trade, shared at my birthday drinks. It pours hazy deep red with a medium pinkish-white head. The nose is earth, musty, aged cheddar, parmesan cheese and some cherry fighting its way through. The taste is tart cherry, cherry pip, mouth-puckering tartness, grape, wood, strawberry, mustiness, earth, faint jam and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty cheesy on the nose unfortunately, tastes pretty nice still.

Lovely dark pink / reddish pour with a slightly pink head. Nose is oak and cherry. Taste is big time cherry (this is a rich, deep flavor), followed by some tartness, wood and wine character with wine-like finish. Not overly sour. Nice.

Bottle shared at cfobes tasting. Cant remember who brought this one but thanks. A little stanky blue cheese in the aroma. Hmm. Taste is great. Tart michigan cherries and a little red wine vinegar. Interesting brew, i would gladly drink this again.

Bottle. Cheers to noted rock jock Paulo for supplying this. The pourís amber with a modest head. The nose is certainly írusticí. I get musty attic, poo, urine, strong aged parmesan cheese. The taste is more pleasant. red berry, woody acid. Grape skin, some tart cherries. Loads of cheese. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall, I found the cheesy notes in this to be overwhelming. Some people loved it. One of the more divisive beers of the evening.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell during Paulís Birthday Celebration - London. Thanks to Sr. Scopey. Pours hazy purple-red-amber with a foamy, light pink head. Smells like juicy farts, berries and cheese. Light sweet flavor, lightly dry and tart, tangy berries, bit of parmesan cheese. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Tart finish, some lightly sweet and tart berries, cherries in particular, light bitter fruit skins, lingering cheese. So so. That cheese factor makes this one a little awkward.
