Light red almost pink without much head. Sour cherries fill the nose with a bit of funk. Very lactic without much sourness until the after taste. Cherry is present, of course, not really notable otherwise.

Oct 8, 2008 dusty rose in color with no head.aroma is slightly funky with some cherries,oak,and orange.flavor is the same with a slightly medicinal aftertaste that i did not care for.

Oct 7, 2008 22oz bottle from Cheeseman at one our tastings (working through a backlog here). Pours a clodu pink with a funky puffy pink head. Tons of cherry taste with a slight sourness and nice notes of funk. A lot of oaky vanilla notes in this. I liked this more than most but its nowhere near as complex as some other sour ales from the west coast.

Oct 6, 2008 750ml bottle shared by Odeed; Nose is lightly funky with tart cherries, and oaky woodiness; Clear dark pink with a small pink-tinged head; Flavor was cherries, light tartness balanced by light sweetness; not very tart, would be better tarter!

Sep 27, 2008 Bottle in a trade. Pours a red amber body with almost no head. Cherry woodiness and a nice sour acid aroma. Flavor is tart sour cherry Wood maybe some brett and finishes very dry. Awesome beer.

Sep 24, 2008 Bottle from Joey @ SouthBay. Sampled this summer. Time has softened my initial experience which was not that pleasurable. I have warmed to sours, though, and would almost try this again. Full aroma of cherry and funk with flavor to match - lemon and yeast as well. The funk takes over the tartness and rather subdues the fruit; for me, the barrel is overtaken as well and this hurt my enjoyment.
