Bottled. An amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of vinegar and malt. The flavor is acidic with notes of malt, fruit, red currant, and cherries, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell during Paul’s Birthday Celebration - London. Thanks to Sr. Scopey. Pours hazy purple-red-amber with a foamy, light pink head. Smells like juicy farts, berries and cheese. Light sweet flavor, lightly dry and tart, tangy berries, bit of parmesan cheese. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Tart finish, some lightly sweet and tart berries, cherries in particular, light bitter fruit skins, lingering cheese. So so. That cheese factor makes this one a little awkward.

/12/12/13/10/12

(Bottled @ChrisO’s) A bit hazy orange color, no head. Sour, peachy fruity aroma. Sour, fruity (peach, apricot), some hints of spiceyness or alcohol. Quite good imitation of lambic. Aftertaste should be more intensive.

A: Not a particularly attractive beer with a hazy light golden-orange color and some nice flecks of yeast sediment in the glass. S: There’s a nice tartness to the nose along with some mild cherry notes and a mild vinegar presence. While there’s some good stuff going on here, it’s a very "light" nose. T: The flavor is a bit better, offering some sweet and sour cherries along with lactic and acetic sourness. There’s an oak presence here, but nothing overwhelming. M: The body is on the lighter side with a light carbonation to it. D: This is a pretty easy wild ale to drink as it’s not overly sour and doesn’t have much (if any) funk to it. That said, it’s not my favorite for these reasons, but serviceable.
