Pours clear amber with a thick and frothy, if not too persistent, ivory head. Aroma presents hoppy and subtle citrus tones, typical but pleasing. Flavor is average, hoppy, resiny, a little woody, a little bitter, underpinning of grapefruit. Mouthfeel features average body and strong fizz. Average, but enjoyable.

For a standard IPA, this is as good as it gets. Full bodied, beautiful strings of citrus, grapefruit, dankness, just a juicy smelling beer. Taste is more if the same. Yum.

Clear deep golden with a thin sticky white cap. Lovely piney and sweet floral resins on the nose with a bit of light citrus zest. Crisp and hoppy flavor with lots of leafy tones, citrus bitterness, floral resin flavor and bitterness, a touch of pine, and finishing resiny and bitter and a little floral. Not bad. Tastefully made.

22 oz. bb 20 Apr 2016. Big bright aroma jumps out of the bottle: evergreen resin, tangerine zest, pineapple and flowery honey. Taste is just as bold with the same mix plus some dried green herb thrown in for good measure. Near-medium body has medium carbonation and a dry-hop bias that provides a nice counter to the ample malt body.

Decent run of the mill IPA. Aroma was catty with pine and earth. Pour was a medium light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was decent. Very malt forward with burnt caramel dominating the flavor. The simcoe hops were big in the finish with that cattiness lingering alongside the malt. Nice carbonation.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co. and shaker served, displaying a slightly hazed, orangey gold color, with a healthy layer of soft white head foam that changed to rocky persistence, and wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was expressive grapefruit, some pit fruit, lightly dank, with a little resin & sweetness, and light breadiness to the malt. A bit better than medium bodied, with fair carbonation, the taste was similar notes as the aroma, including a pronounced earthy & rind-like bitterness that lingered long, and alcohol presence that wasn’t necessarily warming, but pleasantly noticeable. Well put together IPA.

On tap at The Oak. A golden orange color. White lacing. Big tropical nose. Fantastic fruity flavor. Great hoppy flavor. Solid bitterness. Good stuff.

from a .5l bottle into a pint glass. Pours a nice copper color with lots of frothy white head. no date on the Green Flash bottle. Pine and grass aroma. Mouthfeel is medium with slightly too much carb. Taste is pretty generic actually. nothing really popped out. Kinda bitter with muddled mix of pine, wood, skunk and resin. Eh, not great at all. and way overpriced.

Lightly misty clementine hue. Uninspiring first take from the aroma. Stale florals, hay, grapefruit pith, sweetened iced tea. A pinch of lemon, possibly yuzu. Aggressive, unwieldy, dated blend, with papery caramel sweetness and hamster cage earthy hops. The perfumed, pithy grapefruit, and dry caramel flavor leaves the same impression. Sticky, brusque texture, dirty cookie dough like malts, cardboard intimation. Perfumed, lemon verbena finish.
