Out the Bottle. Purchased the same day at the Alpine Beer Pub. Nice little place. Color is orange. Nice thin, foamy head. Both the Amarillo and Simcoe show up big on the nose. Nice grassy flavor with lingering aftertaste.

Bottle (thanks Kevin). Pours orangish with an off-white head. Aromas of citrus and grass. Flavor is a nice blend of malts and hop flavors (fruits and citrus). Smooth and not overly bitter. A great IPA.

Bottle. Finger of pure white head on a clearer light orange marigold. Lots of resiny and dank hoppiness in the aroma, and devoid of malt sweetness, but some light fruits come in. Herbal, bitter, touch of grass, and very resinous with a tinge of grapefruit rind. Medium oily body and very dry. Really great stuff.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours a clear gold with a thick off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, grass and some malt. Flavor starts with grapefruit and orange, then moves to sweet malt before a lemon peel and citrusy hop finish. Good stuff!

Bottle from South Bay Drugs and Liquor: I have had this on tap before, but I am so glad to be able to write my thoughts about this beer from a bottle then a loud and crowded bar. Poured in color as a solid blondish gold with a rocky patch of foam. In the nose, there was an over-dominant scent of piney hops with background of a grapefruit or other citrus based fruit. The flavor is an organic and fresh of sticky freshly picked green hops with a solid balance of malts in the mix. This does come across very bitter and will leave behind a dry and metallic aftertaste which is to be expected for such a fine made IPA.

My second Alpine beer of the night after the Pure Hoppiness. Next to that beer this one lacks a little, but next to 99% of IPAs out there this is perfection. I love how they get so much hop flavor into their IPAs. Im not a huge Simcoe fan but Amarillo is amazing and balances flavor-wise tremendously. Citrus and spruce are dominant.

Bottle thanks to ocbeersociety, huge hop aroma, pine, citrus, and dank. Huge similar hop flavors and alight bitterness with some hop flavors in the finish. Another home run by alpine!
