pours unclear golden with a creamy white head, good retnetion and lacing. danky citrus and melons, toasted maltiness - very nice malt depth, very fruity strawberries - kind of juicy, peppery and piney too, hint of sweetness - candy-esque. average to light carbonation, light to medium body - oily; balanced grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. much enjoyed!

On tap (made it to Western NY, which is rare), Pours a clear golder color with a small white head. Aroma was dank, slightly boozy, citrus, resin and piney. Taste was nice with light sweet malts and a medium bitterness. Alcohol was there and present. Fairly thin and smooth on the palate, bubbly, and good bitterness on the finish. Not bad.

Fresh tangerine nose, juicy. Clear amber, headless. Dry, whole orange. Medium body, harsh mouthfeel. Well hopped with a good aroma, but the dryness and carbonation prevent this from being a great beer.

Shaker pint draft at Strangeways in Dallas, Texas. The pour is hazed orange with a 1/2 inch off white head. The aroma citrus floral, fresh and only a minimal amount of malt in the nose - very much hop focused. The taste is fresh citrus hop, big fresh and flowery - some dank resin present as the beer warms. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a clean citrus finish. Nice hop bomb.

On tap @ Lord Hobo.

Appearance: Clear golden with a small easy to revive white head and some lacing.

Aroma: Quite hoppy but not overpowering with resin, dankness, nice fruitiness/citrus presence and toasted malts.

Taste: The taste is showcasing the toasted malts. It’s not super malty per se, but the malts are crisp, crackery and gives the beer a perfect backbone while never hindering drinkability. There’s also some resin, citrus notes and light bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Good carbonation. A bit oily. Quite dry. Resinous and a bit dank finish with a light toasted malt presence in the aftertaste.

Overall: Excellent balance on this super easy to drink IPA. Beautiful use of the toasted malts. Nice mix of dank, resinous and fruity hops. Tasty and not over the top.

On tap at Lord Hobo. Clear gold pour, thin white head. Aroma is super dank, hoppy, really nice hoppiness, very citrusy, light pine. Taste is resinous, good juicy hop, assertive bitterness without being excessively harsh. Palate is med-full bodied with med-light carbonation, very nice IPA.
