Bottle from Bottleworks.

Totally solid IPA in every respect, but the hops donít stand out and sing the way that they do in Nelson. Itís a very good IPA, but itís not head and shoulders about the best one can find.

Skunky, grassy, citrus aromas, the body is a mid orange with a thin head that leaves some spotty lace. Flavors of over -ripe grapefruit, lemons with a middle of the road bitterness. Overall its decent enough...

Clear golden orange, light tan head. Quite bitter, orange citrus, some resin. Fairly oily, medium body, medium finish. Great.

Bottle from whole foods in sugar land. Clear golden orange with a rocky off-white head. Malt forward aroma of bread, pine, caramel, and grass. Medium bodied but on the heavier side and pretty smooth. Good stuff for sure, but top 50? Not that sure.

Sweet simple aroma with clean un-muddled hops, malt and nothing else. My only objection is that I wish it were stronger. Hazy see through dark golden color with lots of white foam that clings to the glass. Very drinkable, grassy, not bitter or overly hoppy at all with only a hint of both in the aftertaste. So-so palate. Iíve never said this about a west coast IPA before, but I wanted more hop bitterness. This one is too safe.

Mostly clear, tawny brass color. Wears its oatmeal colored head like a sweater. Aroma put me in the mind of biscuits and kumquat marmalade. Assertive bittering, lots of hops rambling around in there. Citrus tones more on the backend. Slightly light feeling body. At first this didnít really come together cohesively for me, but it grew on me and became sessionable. On tap, Brass Tap, Tallahassee Midtown.

Rated on 4-06-2016 (Bottle-Best by 24Aug16) When poured, the appearance is a medium sized frothy off-white head that mostly diminishes, golden transparent body, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma presents citrus and pine hops, grapefruit, tropical fruit, spicy, floral, and caramel malt. The flavor is heavily bitter, citrus and pine hops, tropical fruit, grapefruit, caramel malt, and it has a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel is moderate-heavy carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This is an awesome tasting beer with a lingering bitter aftertaste. The flavors come together extremely well making for a delicious IPA. The ABV is hidden and this is a beer that I cannot get enough of. The aromas and flavors of this beer are very pleasing. This beer is well worth trying and definitely a beer that I would partake in again, and again and again!

Draft at Caponeís. I canít believe I never rated this before. Pours Crystal clear light honey color nice foam that leaves thick lace. Aroma is lemon and lime, biscuit and mild cereal grains. Taste is similar with a nice moderate bitter citrus finish. Not as good as it used to be, but still great.

Bottle from Super Deli Mart, Seattle; bb 17 Mar 2016
Golden color, clean, bright, with generous head. A very piney and citrusy hopping, over a soft but robust toffee malt base, off-dry.
