Tall bomber says itís best by 17 Mar 16. I assume that means itís fresh. Smells and tastes fresh. Usually get worried when I see Simcoe on the label, but Iím not worried anymore. Loads of citrus hops on the nose. Get a light tropical fruit sweetness that lingers for a long time. Very, very nice. Love it.

Bottle from colonial spirits. Deep clear light golden color with a frothy bubbly white head that shows great retention. Earthy citrus oniony resinous pine with hints of bready maltiness. Lingering bitterness in the finish. Nice IPA.

Alpine Duet IPA Bottle. BB Mar 2016. Pours hazy golden with dense off-white head. Nose is sticky resiny hops - light pine - somewhat muffled by the thick head. Flavor is rich and hearty for this style - nice generous maltiness, textured full grainy barley, grain bill creates a luxurious texture on the tongue. Begins lightly sweet with some floral notes and then passionfruit-like resiny hops take over, moves on to an agressively bitter finish that assaults the palate and lets you know you are really drinking something. Prickly hop bitterness and resin notes linger and entice for several minutes.

bottled - nice orange color. Great hop aroma. Decent hop flavor but could use a bit more sweetness to balance out the overwhelming amount of hops.

22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a medium frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is fruity piney hops with some resin and some caramel/crystal malt.

The flavor is sweet biscuity malt with resiny piney hops and some fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly watery.

Overall, a nice IPA. I remember it being better on tap.
