Bottle, cheers to Paul for landing this fresh from the states! The pour’s slightly hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is a big, expressive symphony of dank west coast hops. Loads of armpit, lemon peel, peaches, grapefruit. General citrus fruit salad. Invitingly beautiful aromas. The taste is pineapple and grapefruit smoothie. Loads of sweet tropical fruit. Lovely bracing bitterness. Grass, a bit of pacific woodland. Light fern, some chalky cheddar cheese on the finish. Brilliant vitality. Super crisp and easy to drink. Overall, wow. I need more of this beer in my life.

Poured from a bomber. Clear, dark golden, small white head. Smell/taste of citrus (orange, grapefruit), pine, very hoppy with a slight fruity end. A very fresh and clean tasting beer, but a little thin. A lot of hops without being bitter, perfect for a single IPA @ 7%. I prefer Pure Hoppiness but this is right up there with Blind Pig, Alesmith IPA, Sculpin, etc.

Bottle courtesy of stefanSD. Poured a light clear gold with a well formed white head and good lace. Catty aroma, with some fruit but doesn’t begin to hint at how juicy the flavor will be. I don’t know how Alpine manages to make IPA’s simultaneously fruit bomb s (peaches, tropical fruits) without being way too sweet. Finishes perfectly dry. Stellar beer. I like Simcoe but the combination sum of these 2 is greater than they really should be.

Bottle via trade. It pours golden yellow with a big, fluffy white head. The nose is softer than expected, fresh pine, orange, tangerine, passion fruit, grapefruit and light grass. The taste is pine, pithy citrus, zesty grapefruit, crisp, resinous, sherbet, mango, passion fruit and faint spice with a crisp bitter finish. Medium body, moderate-high carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Flavoursome, clean, well balanced and just massively drinkable. Really delicious!

Bottle, thanks Paul for sharing. Golden with white head. Thick pungent hop aroma, mango, pine, grapefruit, the kind of smell you could sniff all day, similar flavours but doesn’t quite live up to the smell. Balanced and lightly bitter. One of the best ipas I have tasted

Golden color, nice, sweet almost piney nose. Very drinkable, with that west coast ipa bite. Another very good ipa from Alpine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy yellow from the bottle with good carbonation but no real head or lacing. Aroma of citrus and earthy hops, with weird esters over the top. Taste is much more IPA than nose, bitter hops that linger. Good stuff, expecting a little more maybe.

Straw color with white head. Great floral citrus juicey aroma. Good medium body clean sweetness followed by a bitter herbal finish. I want more.

Thanks Tim and Rachel. Light golden pour with a small soapy white head. Holy shit this aroma, pineapples and peaches dominate and a touch of sweetness. Slightly sweet and tropical fruitiness in the flavor that blends well and a quick, bitter ending to it. Very nice beer.
