4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle sent from doodler, thanks Scott! P is a hazy golden sienna with a very thick and lasting white head. Nose is sweet flowery hops with light caramel. Taste is also mainly clean sweet hops. The beauty of this is the simple clean vibrance of it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Aroma of orange, lemon peel, blood orange, breadiness.
Pours a slightly hazy golden with a one finger white head.
Taste is medium bitter and light to medium sweet. Lots of orange peel and lemon peel coming through.Has a slightly bready beginning.
Medium body, average to soft carbonation, very drinkable and a pleasant bitter orangy grapefruity finish.
This was pretty good. I imagine how good it once was when brewed at Alpine.

12 fl oz bottle at home in Richmond as ’Alpine Beer Company Duet’, 7.0%, BB Dec 2016. "Drink Alpine beer or go to bed!" strapline. Translucent amber, lightly sparkling, foamy cream head, thick lacing. Aroma is dried mint leaves, leaves in general, touch of fudge, pine, touch farty / musty. Body is fairly light, tingly carbonation, bit frothy. Taste is tangy pine up front, grapefruit, dusty and dry, white sugar, crisp and clean in the finish with a breathy linger. Pretty decent IPA - not as fruity as I like ’em but very hoppy indeed.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear light amber. Probably because of the storage, it doesn’t smell that hoppy. Taste is good, can both tell the bitterness from hops and the sweetness from malt. It’s just like a duet, well a duet of papageno and papageno, complex but nice.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear light amber with a one-finger off-white head that retained well and left thick rings of lace. Aromas of pine, herb, bread, hay, maybe a touch of earth. Medium bitterness up front offset quickly by a light malt sweetness. Flavors reminiscent of pine, toast, grapefruit, citrus rind. Medium to full body, moderate effervescence, superb creamy mouthfeel and a crisp bitter finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home, from HV, must have forgotten to rate this one ! 18/08/2016.
Golden amber with a well appointed egg shell white cap with excellent retention qualities - a real looker of a beer !
Nose is caramel malt, light pine needle, orange peel, soft bread, cantaloupe melon, bubblegum.
Taste comprises orange pith, bubblegum, tangerine, light grapefruit slathers, sticky tropicana, soft bread, candyfloss, caramel malt base.
Medium bodied, soft soft pillowy massaging carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close.
Solid IPA, the nose and flavour profile not as ’wow’ as when I first had this in the US but still as great IPA, brilliant mouthfeel and appearance.
