Poured from a bomber. Clear, dark golden, small white head. Smell/taste of citrus (orange, grapefruit), pine, very hoppy with a slight fruity end. A very fresh and clean tasting beer, but a little thin. A lot of hops without being bitter, perfect for a single IPA @ 7%. I prefer Pure Hoppiness but this is right up there with Blind Pig, Alesmith IPA, Sculpin, etc.

Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy burnished medium amber with a very slim and scant wispy white head. Minimal lace. Bright orangey nose, pith and peel notes, also showing some grapefruit. Not as juicy or as distinct as i might have thought, given the rep of the beer. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel with oranges and grapefruit on the mid palate. Not quite the crystal clear flavor profile or dynamic beer that suggests a masterpiece, but very nice for sure. Mild finish.

Bouteille 660ml, gracieuseté de tom10101, merci Tommy! Couleur orangée voilée, mousse blanche meringuée laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de malt, houblon résineux, pin, zeste de pamplemousse, fraîcheur, citron. Goût de houblon résineux, malt, pin, pamplemousse, bonne amertume. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen. Délicieux, ça se boit à grandes lampées.

Draft @ Whole Foods Tap Alley in Fremont, CA. Decent body and well tempered hop forward west coast IPA. Some clean, refreshing sweetness and citrus taste makes this a more adult example of this style.

22 oz. bottle poured into a tulip. Golden amber color with incredible clarity. 2 finger white head that lasts and lasts. When it finally dies down, the surface is coated with foam that sticks to the side of the glass. It looks perfect. Totally overwhelmed by citrus hops. Orange hops with some pine in the background. A little bit of sweetness. Tastes of citrus hops. Orange and grapefruit. Slightest bit sweet and has a touch of a toasty malt flavor. Lingering hop bitterness. Medium carbonation makes it feel a bit creamy. Fantastic.

Clear amber pour with a nice white head. Big citrus hoppy nose and taste. Solid beer, would like to try it against a bottle made at the source.

Pour is a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is just pure hops. Flavor is again just a solid resin hop with some dry almost pils like malt. Nice hop left on the tongue as well. Not the most hoppy west coast IPA I’ve had but this is pretty good.

Finally tracked down on draft at Mad Mex South Hills. Poured hazy light copper with thick splotches. Big citrus and pine with near perfect balance with malty backbone. Exactly why it’s not about the IBUs!

Bottle. Foamy head. Big orange aroma and flavors with some Grapefruit and pine. Bigger malts than I expected. Big and rich. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
