For $8 per 22 oz bottle, plus tax, I think I can expect nectar of heaven, and though this comes close, it is not quite there. Nice IPA, great nose, and good hop flavor. Too hard to find. If they sold this for $5.50/22 oz bottle, I’d be all over it like white on rice, but Pliny (proportional price in a 22 oz bottle) can be purchased for the equivalent of $6.87, and this is not so good as to be worth another $1.13/bottle. It’s good, but it is not Pliny.

Draught at Lord Hobo, Winter ’14-’15
Bright peachy gold with a strong white head atop.
Well, these are my two favorite American hops but Im not feelin it. Came off a bit short in the aroma department. Clean and certainly not offensive but hardly anything to bat an eye at. Citrus, moderate juicy fruits and a pinch of pine are all pleasant enough. No alcohol noted and a fair amount of balancing malt (honey and light caramel).
Very bitter in the mouth, not to the point of fatigue, but it certainly outdoes the actual hop flavor. Thick, yet not sweet body has ample carbonation. Pineapple, lime, red grapefruit and very dry pine all assert themselves heavily. Not much finesse here. Maybe too far from the source? Will try again next time it comes to town.

Bomber from perkins. Clear pale golden pour with a nice frothy white head that mostly fades. Earthy pine with a strong malt presence, crisp. some grapefruit rind, moderate body and carbonation, nice bitterness with an underlying booziness that adds a nice depth and flavour, dries out somewhat, enjoyable.

From the tap. Slightly hazy, darker golden color with a fluffy white head, and lots of lacing. Aroma of orange peel and grapefruit...and slight light malt. Taste is grapefruit flavor up front and some bready malts. Bitter bite finish, but not overpowering. Nicely balanced. Overall a good beer. Expectations were high, and I was a little let down. Would drink again, just not going out of my way to seek out.

Had a subpar note for this from Crest. Happy to try again, good stuff. This is draft at Daily Growler, UA: orange pour with dirty white head and spotty stick. aroma of tropical fruit and pine. tastes are resiny citrus, orange, spice, little dry, sticky, juicy, caramel, floral. incredible balance. lovely.

On tap at red cow, pours a murky copper/orange with a medium khaki heard. Aroma of fruity hops and caramel malt. Sweet fruity and citrus hops, berry and orange caramel malt and a light but present bitterness. Not mind blowing bit well done.

sampler shared from a bomber. it poured a medium yellow color with white head. the aroma was mild actually. medium malt and nice floral hop nose. the flavor was less bitter than what I thought it would be nice floral flavor with some pine underlying it...very smooth flavor start to finish.

Lightly hazed yellow big white head. Orange cream nose with a burnt pine scent. Aggressive resin and citrus flavor. Metallic hop note lingers into the finish. Bit of a refreshing white grape taste throughout this compliments the bitter with a good cotton candy malt .

Mango scent. Hops hit hard on the mouth bit very crisp and refreshing. Slightly too hoppy and bitter. Tap

Draft at Moriartys. Mostly clear golden orange pour that starts with a solid foamy white head. Light lace. Nice big full earthy citrus hop flavors that go down really easy! Unripe oranges. Dark clementines. Autumn leaves. Passionfruit. Kiwi. Gently sweet and spicy. Some grassy, floral and herbal notes. Juicy but refined. Very smooth with just enough lingering bitterness. Finds a really remarkable balance.
