4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Growler: Thanks to Jeff for filling this long time void. Appropriately hazy; faint golden & nearly yellow color with a layer of soapy & foamy white bubbles that hang around casually on top. Beautiful aroma of wet grass, pine, juicy & dripping wet citrus peel, pineapple, candied mango, grapefruit, light sugar cookie malt, a touch of hop oil & a dash of leafiness. The flavor hits you like a basket of freshly mowed lawn trimmings; grassy, lightly weedy, with an overcast pine element that dangles in & out. Hemp oil covers lines of grapefruit rind & tangerine peels, injecting a modest bitterness, sprinkled with a white peppery herbal spiciness. Small undertow of pale malt sweetness towards the finish with a small bit of green onion, grass, & leftover tropical fruit rinds. Dry finish, crisp & it doesn’t overstay its welcome on the palate. Simply an outstanding pale ale & it’s painful to think about how long it will be before I likely have it again.

Growler, big thanks to Derek for sharing! Mostly clear orange pour, solid white frothy head. Nose and flavor are gorgeous, with lemon-lime, tangerine, green onion, and spruce shining vibrantly on the palate. Clean and medium bodied, but definitely bitter. An excellent APA.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hopped like a west coast iPa and then some. Loads of zesty grapefruit and some tropical fruit on the nose. Very bitter in the flavor, but pleasingly so. Balance it is not, but a pale/iPa this hoppy at 5% is nice

Thanks, Kurt! On tap at Mikkeller Bar. Hazy amber with a foamy head. Sharp fruit punch aroma. Awesome. Taste is super clean and balanced. Fruity taste (tropical and citrus) with a clean moderately bitter finish. Full body. Great stuff.

On tap at Toronado. Pours a nice hazy gold. Smells of melon, grapefruit and slight tropical fruits. Taste is similar with a very mild bitterness, clean crispness and smooth finish. One of the best pale ales I've had.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at City Beer. Nose is a hop explosion of citrus, grapefruit and a touch tropical. Pour is hazy gold with a right white head. Taste is a lightly sweet tropical hop that fades into a pepper in the back of the throat. Hop flavor continues to build with each sip.

3.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
10 ounce sample on tap at DeVere’s in Sacramento. The aroma is super citrussy with a ton of grapefruit and mango. Smells so incredibly awesome. A rare perfect 10 on aroma. Mildly hazy copper body with a small to medium cream-colored head present. Good lacing also persists. This beer starts with a strange celery flavor. Moderate-to-high bitterness is present. Becomes very dry and herbal in the middle. Crazy celery seed flavors come through in the bittering hops used to finish this. One dimensional in a way. I wanted to like this more, given the aroma.
