3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Bottle Baron. Hazy golden body with tiny yeast flecks floating around beneath a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, nettles and pine needles. Flavour of deodorant, cherry tomatoes and menthol. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Not as clean as I hoped it would be.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
So I have been out of the game for a while and ordered a few beers up for my birthday and this is one of the gems in the box. Today happens to be my birthday so here goes. Pour has a brassy golden color with a one finger white head that retained well. Aroma has juicy hops, citrus sweetness, crisp but quite hoppy. Mouth feel is medium but coats well. Flavor again is insanity hop packed, light resins, citrus rind, creeping bitterness, and a lingering finish. Malt is at a level to really let the hops be the showcase. I remember when this came out and was a cult thing and now here it is in my glass 6 years or so later.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear thick golden, neat white cap and no lacing with speckles of visible carbonation. Nose is a fairly fluid tangerine, real bitty and pithy when this chinks into the taste, and a pine so vibrant it’s almost minty. Initial taste is a decent sun of these whilst being bready and a sweet tang. Carbonation is sleek enough and the mouthfeel is very smooth despite encroaching bitterness. Finishes clean enough, an exceptional about of bitterness that is lingers out minty and far reaching.

On tap at Draught. Pours a pretty clear orange amber with a medium sized white head. Soft citrus on the nose, green and piney. Medium bodied, soft melon right away, a touch of dryness. Slow malt into the finish, light pine, earthy bitterness. Long sappy pine with a dusting of grapefruit peels.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear amber with low white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, peach, light apricot. Taste is big and bold bitter up front, very much hop cones and not as refined as I would like it, lingering light bitter finish. Light and smooth body with average carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into pint glass, faint amber-hued golden color with cream colored head. Aroma notes of citrus/tropical and spruce/pine. Taste adds more citrus/pungent hops, lemon, biscuit malt and tad caramel. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, crisp, dry with lingering fruity citrus/pine bitter finish. Strong tasty hop bitterness in a lighter IPA, very good.
