Draft sample. The beer is a clear copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has juicy citrus and a bit of pine resin. Big juicy citrus in the taste, mild bitterness. Crisp and refreshing. Medium carbonation. Very nice beer.

growler pour from horrocks. Golden with one finger head. Fairly light body with all the hops you’d expect. Citrus and light pine. Quite nice.

On draft at Mad Mex South Hills. Poured cloudy orange with scattered splotches of white lace. Orange, tangerine, pine. Bitter finish that softened half way through. Great APA.

Draft to taster at Dutch’s. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor are pushing IPA status with the hop character; grapefruit, citrus, herbal, mild resin and earthy with a pale toasted malt base, moderate bitterness though strong for an APA, solid drinker, I hope we get this stuff fresh now that it is in the area.

My Bottom Line:
Chewy cereals and their caramelized accents welcome coniferous hops and their bitterness in this personable pint.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the hazy amber.
-Resinous bitterness balances out the finish.
-This one wasn’t as crisp as the usual Alpine hoppy brews, to me.
-Hops also contribute citrusy fruitiness, unsurprisingly.

On tap at the brewery taproom.

On tap at Park Burger RiNo pours a clear gold with some fluffy, lacing white head. Nose is what you expect from Alpine, grassy, straw, lemon, some mild herbs, lightly dank, some garlic scape. Flavor follows, just a kiss of light malt, then grass, pine, orange, tangerine, herbs, soap. Medium bodied, dry and very drinkable. A treat.

Draft at rons. Pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is heavy on pine and grapefruit. The taste has a light bitterness, loaded with citrus. This is delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Dutch’s. Keg received yesterday, dated March 12. Despite being nearly 3 months old, this is still drinking impressively hoppy. Nice bigger grapefruity and citrusy hop, it’s IPA-level hoppy. Kind of spicy and peppery. Assertively bitter, too. Essentially what many would call a "session IPA" -- but more balanced, fuller than the typical SIPA, with a substantial biscuity malt backbone. Hop forward for sure, but there is some malt to appreciate beneath it. Just a touch musty, slight hint of a metallic edge, but the age is not bothering me anywhere near as much as I thought it would, this is all minor. Along with the big hop aroma, there’s a bigger bitter taste too, for a pale ale. Pretty assertive. Lighter sweet. Clear orange color. Thin off-white head, leaves some decent splotches of lace, kind of loose. Good head retention. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft lighter carbonation. Dry finish. Definitely a solid pale ale. Hopefully we get the opportunity to try this fresh next year -- it’d probably even better.

On tap at industry. Pours a clear copper orange. Why Hire head. Aroma of dank hops and light citrus. Taste is a bit overly bitter for me. Pretty west coast. Lighter body and high carb. Just too bitter to be crushable.
