Appearance: Clear golden with a medium sized white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Fruity and fresh citrus

Very enjoyable. I wasn’t the only one, a fly dive bombed into it when I was half way through a pint. Scooped him out and kept enjoying it.

On tap at ABC 09.09.2011 with Andy, James and Dallas for Dallas’ bachelor weekend. Light amber pour with a light, airy, floral hoppiness to the nose. Delicate, balanced hoppiness on the palate. Great balance and overall extremely good. Best offering from Alpine on that day (that I tried).

Draft at Toronado with Andrew and James. Pours a clear amber with slight head. Nice big citrus nose. Flavor is appropriately juicy with lots of citrus hops and a peppery finish.

jredmond (5669) - Manhattan, New York, USA - SEP 9, 2011
Draft at toronado with Andrew and dallas. Pours a slightly hazy amber with white lacing. Aroma is fresh, bitter pine hop. Mouthfeel is great with pine, lots of citrus, and some bitter notes.

On tap at tornado in san diego for Dallas’ birthday. A more aggressive brew that really tastes like an ipa.

Terminus (3283) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - AUG 26, 2011
tap at the brewery-pours bright orange with a small soapy lovely crisp head. nose is out of this world-dank tropical notes dry hopped to high hell. WOW! these flavors...lots of hops with quite a bit of husky notes as well. dank fresh green hops. WOW lots of cookie sugar malt, but not too sweet. this has a little green onion on the finish, but it has lots of other hop flavors to not detract anything form the overall enjoyment of this beer. This shit is off the chain!!!! The dank notes of this beer are sick! THE Best APA I have EVER Had!!!!

Pours a golden color with a nice head to it. Has a big tangerine smell to it. Has a piney hoppy taste with a slight citrus finish. Very solid.

Draft at toronado. Clear golden light amber pour, with frothy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is saturated with dank pine hops, grapefruit, and tropical fruit. Similar flavor, super fresh, pine needles, mango, citrus, light caramel malt, grain, damn fresh. Might be the best pale ale I have tried, dry and hoppy. Delicious.

Draught at Toronadosd. Gold with a small white head. Big spicy, floral, dank, and citrus hop aroma backed by a touch of grainy malt. Dry flavor with a crackery malt component and some grassy hop bitterness. Light bodied. I don’t know what it is here, but the malt/hop flavor combo doesn’t seem to gel well compared to their other hoppy beers. I’m all for lower-alcohol hop bombs, but this is oddly out of balance. I’d like to give it another go with a newer batch.

hopscotch (9556) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 7, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 12, 2011 Growler… Clear golden ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Excellent, fragile retention. The nose is big-time pink grapefruit with an underpinning of pine. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. The flavor is of heavily bitter grapefruit rind and pine bark. Crisp, bitter, very dry finish. Growler courtesy of richiesd! Shared with Kevin, owner of Broken Barrel Tavern in Palm Bay, Florida to celebrate the second anniversary of his fine establishment.
