Growler shared by Dan, thanks! Pours a golden straw with a 1.5 finger head. Nose reveals a fruity, almost tropical pineapple note. well carbonated. Taste is sweet malt, super floral and citrus hop forward notes with a nice grassy-ness in the finish. Best Alpine beer I’ve had.

Tap at The Beer Company in San Diego. Ordered because it’s part of their kill the keg promotion after it was passed over during recent brewery tap room visit. Pint glass filled to capacity. Limited head. Golden/copper color. Aroma is pine and floral hoppy. Great lacing. Taste is bright and relatively refreshing. Slight initial sweetness. Clean mouthfeel. Aftertaste is mostly bitter with hops running the show. Nice finish. Decent pale ale.

Tap at the beer company in San Diego. Light copper with bubbly white head. Hoppy nose. A tiny amount of skunkiness but might have been an old keg. Resin but crisp. Decent, maybe a half birthday beer.

Draft at Good Dog. Hazy orange gold pour with a slim white head that left a nice show of lace. Nice hop aroma. Orange peels. Pineapple rind. Grapefruit pith. Browned lemons. Watermelon rind. Has a pleasant earthiness to it as well. Autumn leaves. Mushroomed tree stumps. Chanterelles. Medium toffee malts. Mildly juicy. Semi-fruity but a good dry spicy finish. Alpine keeps surprising me with new solid variations of IPAs. Good stuff!

On tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear orange with a gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a dank pine note with a decent amount of bitter grapefruit and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has some bitter grapefruit and pine with a hint of citrus and an earthy grain backbone.

A little on the bitter side. It had a big hoppy taste but it seemed very high alpha heavy which gave it a bit of an off taste but it wasn't enough to make it undrinkable by any means.

On tap at Phantom Brewing. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a thick foamy head. Very biter. Not much hop character. Decent but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
