Growler thanks to my pal Vince. Dry, crisp, and chuggable. A hint of citrus followed by a torrent of hoppy, grassy, bitterness. Excellent beer.

Thick white head. Light Amber color. Dry fragerent nose with lots of pine and citrus notes. Super well balanced, super dry, super hoppy, super Uber good. Hugely quaffable. Everything I want from a California pale ale.

Great citrus and pine hop aroma. Flavors were bold with a nice bitterness that was balanced by a nice caramel malt background. Medium palate.

On tap (guest) at Fathead’s in Portland, RBSG. Orange-tinted gold. Hay, green grass, a bit of resin, bready malts, moderate bitterness. Densely hoppy, nice.

A really nice pale ale. Nice bittering hops. Not malty. Nice aroma. Enjoyable. A bit thin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft sample. The beer is a clear copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has juicy citrus and a bit of pine resin. Big juicy citrus in the taste, mild bitterness. Crisp and refreshing. Medium carbonation. Very nice beer.

growler pour from horrocks. Golden with one finger head. Fairly light body with all the hops you’d expect. Citrus and light pine. Quite nice.

On draft at Mad Mex South Hills. Poured cloudy orange with scattered splotches of white lace. Orange, tangerine, pine. Bitter finish that softened half way through. Great APA.

Draft to taster at Dutch’s. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor are pushing IPA status with the hop character; grapefruit, citrus, herbal, mild resin and earthy with a pale toasted malt base, moderate bitterness though strong for an APA, solid drinker, I hope we get this stuff fresh now that it is in the area.

My Bottom Line:
Chewy cereals and their caramelized accents welcome coniferous hops and their bitterness in this personable pint.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the hazy amber.
-Resinous bitterness balances out the finish.
-This one wasn’t as crisp as the usual Alpine hoppy brews, to me.
-Hops also contribute citrusy fruitiness, unsurprisingly.

On tap at the brewery taproom.
