COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our most versatile beer. Good to drink as well as cook with. Light enough to quench a thirst and complex enough to accompany fine dining. Carmel malty sweet fades to a chocolate roasty finish and dry from a touch of rye. 1.057 OG 13 IBU 6%ABV

I got a lot of flowery and soapy flavors, probably from the hops. I was hopping to get more caramelly flavors and some roastiness. Its spiced up and has tu much hops for the style. Its a bit watery too.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear reddish brown with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like sweet roasted malt, a little earthy, burnt toast. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet roasted malt and toasted grains.

Palate: light sweets coming up, malt, caramel and bread, some light bitters remain in the background, soft carbonation. Overall:OK Irish Ale, but nothing to write home about. Bright ruby, light ringed head. Keen caramel and a soft brown sugar edge. Initial taste is softly sweet initially, light tea bitterness. Nice spicy rind towards the middle. Fairly dry on the finish. Soft, sticky mouthfeel. Decent enough.

The taste is bitter-fruity, red fruity, toasty, caramel, mild citrus, alcohol warmth and jammy aspect with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Oily feel. Not a whole lot of depth, but decent enough.

At their pub. Decent hoppiness, well malted. Not a bad one for an Irish red. Drinkable.

On tap at Alpine, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of stone fruits, earth and dry caramel malts. Flavour brings out red fruits, earthy notes, and some dry floral hops. Nice and dry, with a fruity, earthy body. Solid stuff.
