I was hopping to get more caramelly flavors and some roastiness. Its spiced up and has tu much hops for the style. Its a bit watery too.

On draught at Alpine. Pours a clear deep copper to amber color with a tan head. Aroma is malts, bread and biscuit. Taste follows suit. Very smooth finish. Pretty good even though I don’t normally like the style.

Tap at Alpine, a nice copper type hue, with a roasty, burnt taste.. i didnt find any chocolate or caramel, just a decent irish ale.

Tap. Pours clear reddish amber with a small off-white head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is caramel malts and not much else. Flavor is medium sweet caramel, with perhaps a touch of chocolate. Light bitter finish. Medium body and a bit of a creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours dark red with a small off-white head. Moderately sweet caramel aroma with some moderate earthy hops. Flavor is the same. More caramel in the finish with a touch of spicy bitterness. Not a bad beer, just not all that exciting.

Pours a amber red with a small off white head. Aroma is of sweet toasted malts, caramel, and some pine. Taste is of toasted malts, caramel, some coco notes, a little rye, and a small amount of pine hops. Has a medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a sweet, malty finish. overall, a pretty good Irish ale that goes great with food.

Pours a dark golden orange/amber color with a 1.5 finger off white head that slowly fades into a lasting ring. Sporadic streaks of lacing left behind.
Sweet malt aroma with lots of caramel, toffee, rye and dark fruits. Subtle hops and estery yeast balance things out a bit.
Fuller bodied than expected with a balance of crisp hops and sweet malts. Hoppier than expected up front with dry spiciness and subtle earthy, floral notes.backing malt backbone with lots of sweetness. Hints of caramel, toffee rye, hazelnut, apricot and other light fruit. Well balanced and very drinkable.
