An outstanding hop from New Zealand, Nelson Sauvin, is generously used throughout the brewing and dry-hopping of this unique beer. European rye is added for a smooth, malty addition to flavor. 1.065 OG 7%ABV

On tap at Toronado. The pour is a foggy golden yellow with a thick cap of dense white head and some spectacular lace. The aroma is perfect. There is so much resin and citrus that blends with the hops. The flavor is heavy on citrus and resin while being surprisingly hoppy bitter. Then hop bitterness is a different flavor than I'm used to, probably with the Nelson hops. The flavors mesh so well. The mouth feel is perfect. Just thick enough, with a soft subtle carbonation to help it stick even more. Just great. The aftertaste is lingeringly bitter and hoppy with a great citrus. Damn ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fine, full, skanky, green aroma, with egg. Hazy, but deliberately so,, More delicate in the flavor but stlil the resin & green with caramel and lemon. Well-balanced on the pallet. on tap at the Mong.

On tap at Belmont Station. Colour...very cloudy apricot-gold with a thick white head. Nose...mmmmm...sweaty, sultry, locker room infused hops with sweaty pineapples and skanky mangoes. Palate...plush, thick, and velveteen with skunky, b.o. hops and crushed juniper brush. Thereís a distinct sweetness, but it is not overpowering. Thereís kumquat skin and grapefruit pith in the mid palate and the finish is long and bitter with notes of citrusy boiled sweets.

Tap from green flash brewery. Very hoppy nose, but a bit of a different smell than expected. Sugary and spicy. Extremely clean taste and very crisp body. Cloying. Not a run of the mill ipa but does the style justice. Very good.

How have I not rated this beer yet. Had multiple times on draft and bottles. Orangish gold pour with white head. Cat pissy nose of Nelson Sauvin hops with a trace of citrus. Taste follows the nose with not much malt on the back end. One of the best out there for sure.

Pours a finger of head on a light straw body. The aroma is lots of grapefruit. The taste is moderate grapefruit bitterness, pine and more grapefruit. The texture is crisp with soft edges. Itís good and bold.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden/yellow color ale with a large foamy head with excellent retention and some really good lacing. Aroma of floral hops of mango, Sauvignon and papaya is just ab out perfect. Taste is also dominated by loads of fresh floral hoppy notes of mango, papaya and Sauvignon. Light residual sugar notes can also be detected and bitterness is very minimal. Body is about average with good carbonation. Canís say I really tasted the rye malt so much but the hops flavours are just about perfect.
