Murky orange in colour with a small white head, light lacing. The aroma is very tropical, pineapple, some pine. The flavour is filled with tropical hops, citrus and a bit of pine. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long and hoppy. A very, very good IPA, so hoppy yet has very good balance.

Opened March 5, 2010.

On tap at the brewpub in Alpine. Appearance: Hazy pale yellow with a durable white colored head that leaves a temporary coating on the glass. Aroma: Hops, with hints of pineapple, grapefruit, starfruit and other tropical notes. Flavor: Fruity, slightly tart, and only moderately bitter at its peak. Moderate complexity. The hop flavor builds over time but nevers becomes harsh or overbearing Feel: Light-medium body with near medium carbonation. O: a distinctive IPA. Recommended.

Draft at Hopwater Distribution in San Francisco, California. The pour is hazy golden orange with a smallish off white head. Head falls slowly, with nice lacing. The aroma is big citrus tropical hop upfront, opening up to soft fruit and a general dank resin. Engaging nose. The taste is big and fresh, hop is the focus with tropical fruit, citrus brightness and a general pear peach fruitiness. The dank and resin carry the finish, and are more evident as the beer warmed. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and the dry resin finish. Tasty IPA.

Pours a nice orange-golden color with white head. Spice, grass, light fruits, and some pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes clean.

Thanks to Colin for sharing this at a recent tasting. Hazy yellow tropical pineapple juice color. Mint, alcohol, citrus (lemon-mango). Restrained bitterness, light body, soft carb. Muted flavor all around. Grassy. Surprisingly unremarkable.

AROMA: Tropical fruits, spice, pine, bitterness, and a hint of pineapple and sweet malts, absolutely amazing smell to this beer! APPEARANCE: Pours very yellow with a slight golden hue to it, was quite surprised with the color of this IPA, it looks more like a blonde ale, but it still looks good TASTE: Blown away in this category! In the beginning you get a wonderful blend of spice and pine, which transitions to an amazing blend of spice and tropical fruits, and then finishes with spice, tropical fruits, pine, pineapple, and some bitterness. Every flavor in this beer is so perfectly balanced and you get so much of every flavor, and this beer tastes truly incredible! PALATE: Perfect execution here, crisp, light refreshing, leaves your mouth a little dry which leaves you craving it more and more! OVERALL: This is an incredible beer, easily hits number 2 on my top IPA’s list! You have to try this beer!

Had thanks to my boy weezel. Hazy yellow color with a nice head. A nice variety of tropical fruit dominate the aroma and taste. Hops are excellent. Very tasty IPA

Hazy yellow color, frothy white head. Mildly sweet, peppery aroma of citrus fruits (grapefruit, orange, lemon), coriander, and other spices. A lot less sweetness in the taste than in the nose. Lively carbonation, a little more than light-bodied, and a bitter finish

At brewery. Pours hazy gold. Huge hop punch with lemon and orange (grape?) citrus peel. Big and resinous, full of flavor all the way to the end. Aggressive bite. Delicious.

on tap, decent head. Dont let the cloudy color fool you. Lemon finish, but not overpowering, great from first to last sips
