On tap at Enzo’s BBQ in Oceanside, CA. Pours opaque golden orange with a frothy pure white head. Aroma is tangerine, sweet pineapple, grapefruit, dank hops, bready malt. Taste is more citrus than anything... mostly tangerine and grapefruit with some lemon zest and pine. Extremely balanced but no discernable malt characteristic... not really picking up any rye aromas or flavors. Very smooth and crisp... drinkable. Leaves good to heavy lacing

2011 backlog. Bomber. Pours clear light gold with a 3 finger white head. The nose is dank hops, cannabis and caramel. The taste is hop oils, citrus, toffee and grapefruit rind. Medium mouth feel. Nice IPA. 3.8

Cloudy orange with light golden lacing. Aroma of citrus with some serious rotten funk (in a good way) flavor is delicious hoppy crispness that is soon overtaken by barnyard/citrus/rye. Very interesting and complex. Enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very cloudy orange. Great piny smells. Smooth bitter that fades and cleans up very fast. Lasting bitter but malty smooth.

No retention and no lacing. Smells of pineapple, grapefruit and guava. Tastes of tropical fruits and semi-sweet malt. Sweet finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2014 Bomber received in trade. Thank you StefanSD! Pours hazy pale yellowish golden with a rather small frothy white head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity with crackers, white grapes, grapefruit juice, pine needles, minerals, freshly cut grass, pineapple juice, mango, lemon balm, gooseberries and lemon zest. Taste is bitter and fruity with whole grain crackers, grapefruit juice, gooseberries, freshly cut grass, pine needles, grape skins, pineapple juice, unripe mango, lychee and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is dry, slightly astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter and fruity with whole grain crackers, grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, pine needles, freshly cut grass, gooseberries, grape skins and lemon zest. Possibly the perfect Nelson IPA.

Murky orange in colour with a small white head, light lacing. The aroma is very tropical, pineapple, some pine. The flavour is filled with tropical hops, citrus and a bit of pine. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long and hoppy. A very, very good IPA, so hoppy yet has very good balance.

Opened March 5, 2010.

On tap at the brewpub in Alpine. Appearance: Hazy pale yellow with a durable white colored head that leaves a temporary coating on the glass. Aroma: Hops, with hints of pineapple, grapefruit, starfruit and other tropical notes. Flavor: Fruity, slightly tart, and only moderately bitter at its peak. Moderate complexity. The hop flavor builds over time but nevers becomes harsh or overbearing Feel: Light-medium body with near medium carbonation. O: a distinctive IPA. Recommended.
