3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orange honey amber in color. Nice thin soapy head. Sweet tropical fruity nose... Almost like SweetTarts. Clean bitter pine and citrus flavors. Overall, a solid brew. Thanks to BarZigKin for the hook up!

0,355ml bottle at home bought at Firmabier. BB 10 May 2016. orange hazy color, small white head. smells of resins, parfumy, bit old hoppy, grass, candy, light exotic fruits. ok smell, rather old hoppy though. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of resin, old hops, grass, candy, spices. finishes lightly bitter with notes resin and a bit parfumy. decent stuff, but probably not in time prime condition / hops taste rather oldish. overall still good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma of hops, "green", a bit fruity, but also a bit stale. Flavor has mild sweetish malt, "green" hops, a bit fruity, slightly stale, and a moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Could be fresher, but still nice. Very easy-drinking for an 8% Double IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Bishops Vasagatan. Pours slightly hazy amber with white head. PIney aroma and taste with lemon zest, grapefruit, peach and some herbal grass. A little bit of mellow hops here, but you can tell it’s a great beer when fresh.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a decent white head. Orange and pine hop aromas. Medium, slightly creamy body with lots of dank orange and pine hops, with some caramel. Not hugely bitter despite the hoppiness. Damn good though.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Uit de fles geschonken. Een troebel oranjegeel bier met bescheiden schuimkraag. Aromas van tropisch fruit mout en hop. Smaak is overweldigend: zoet-bitter, mout, hop en heel veel fruit, mango, grapefruit, eindigend in een heerlijke bittere zest-achtige afdronk. Wow, een van de betere imp. IPA’s die ik heb gedronken!

12oz bottle at home as ’Alpine Beer Company Pure Hoppiness’, 8.0%, BB May 2016. Dark amber orange, pretty clear, still, dense foamy off-white head. Aroma is Centennial hops, toffee, caramelised orange. Body is smooth, soft carbonation, a little foamy. Taste is spicy, rose water, resin, pine, touch of booze, toffee malt. Very hoppy, as expected. A tasty, spicy Centennial bomb. Good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours orange golden brown with a big white head. Aroma is floral, grapefruit, pine. Flavor is caramel, grapefruit, a touch of pine, but honestly, this falls very short of the expected hop wallop. Drinkable, but the flavor in a beer called Pure Hoppiness should be dominated by hops.
