Really nice hops on this one! Super dry hopped aroma with all of your usual suspects that also follow through in flavor. The malt bill fits perfectly and supports the hops without being too malt driven, fantastic balance, all IPA freaks must try this gorgeous hop bomb!

A: Golden Straw Hue, Passes Most Light, White Head, Mild Lacing
S: Pineapple, Mango, Grapefruit, Mild Piney
T: Floral, Mild Citrus, Mild Bready
M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Bitter, Mildly Bitter, Dry
Overall, a decent DIPA from a great brewer, a little boozy on the back end which was surprising for an 8% ABV.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
pours a slightly cloudy dark gold. large white head. nose is full of hops but in a soft, floral, and ’balance’ way. Not sure what to think. moderate bitterness and slightly sweet malt. Dry finish. hops are deep and complex and there in every part of the beer, but are weirdly balanced. This doesn’t taste like the normal obnoxious west coast pith bombs. Its actually good

From the bottle into a tulip. Pours gold/amber with medium head. Very clean aroma of pine and hop resin. Taste is clean piny hops with a medium malt backbone. Great balance to it. I love the alcohol behind it as well. Just a great beer.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a light clear orange with a good white head that dissipates quickly leaving good lacing down the glass.
Smells sweet and citrusy just like a good West Coast IPA should.
Taste is incredibly well balanced. Starts off good and piney and then the citrus hops come in to balance the hop profile perfectly. Just enough malt to hold all of this together.
Mouthfeel is good for the style. A little bit of sappiness comes through as well.
Overall this beer is one of the better that I brought back from my SD trip. I’ve loved everything I’ve had from Alpine.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle. Poured a clear, amber color with thick white foam. The smell was a strong and persistent fruity-chewy hop aroma with some malt backing it up. The taste was naturally dominated by the chewy, resinous hops, but the hops were not really over the top and were nicely balanced with the malt. The mouthfeel was smooth and slightly sweet with a medium-full body and moderate carbonation. The dry, hoppy flavor lingered on the tongue pleasantly.

bottle from tleaver33, thanks bro. pours orange amber with a thin off white head. nose is bursting with pine, citrus peel, resin. taste is pretty balanced for a dipa, hops translate from the nose to the mouth on a lingering finish. must be the lightest 8% beer around since the body seems thin at times. overall, very enjoyable and hope to tr more of their hoppy offerings.

Pours a cloudy dark orange with a beige, but barely present lacing. Aroma is pine, grapefruit and resin. Initially somewhat cloying, but finishes with a lingering bitterness

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a bright gold with no head. Aroma of bitter hops, citrus and pine. Taste is malty up front, then it smacks you with bitter citrus and pine. Really tasty ipa.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is one of the finest, all-around IPA I’ve ever tasted. It’s fantastic in every regard. The hops and malt blend is absolute perfection. It tastes of smooth but bold northwest hops, but there is no unbridled bitterness because the malt taste comes through to uphold an unparalleled consistency. Each sip is liquid gold, to match the color of this perfected brew.
