A West Coast Double IPA So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

Bottle. Clear gold pour with a small head that fades to a nice ring. Awesome aroma of juicy oranges, flowers, pine, dank grass, and light cheese. Tastes like very oily fresh hop leaves. Moderately dank, big floral and pine hop bite, grapefruit peel, and loaded with hop oils. Moderately bitter. Medium body. Love the aroma but the taste is a tad harsh from being so oily. Still pretty great overall though.

Bottle. Clear gold with a medium off white head. Aroma is floral, grassy and lightly fruity. Taste follows with a burst of perfume and blueberry. Medium mouthfeel and somewhat strong carb. Really awesome and a nice departure from the typical tropical fruit bomb.

22oz bottle pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Mixture of hop flavors that don't quite come together. A little alcohol harshness.

Bomber - how have I not rated this yet. I live a 1/2 mile away from the brewery. Golden pour with frothy white head and plenty of lacing. Nose is a hop bomb with citrus and pine. Taste follows the nose with both citrus and piney hop bite. A true hop bomb but highly drinkable and balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with the Weird Beard crew and Chris Hall at BDSB - cheers to EDubLovesBeer and iggywh for the hookup and for a crazy evening in SD. Pours out light orange and slightly hazy, with a thin head. Aroma is massive dankness, like stilton cheese and old socks (that’s a compliment). Palate is light, with medium carb. Flavour is initially just massively savoury, overloading the tongue with umami and hop oil, but once you adjust, there’s huge deep resinous hop, like chewing on grapefruit peel while huffing away at an old shoe. There’s enough chewy sweet malt to keep it all on the road, but the dankness is intense. Finishes long and bitter. Frankly just a hop delivery system - but what a system.

Many thanks to Marcel for the bottle! Pours a clean amber-orange color with a froth, stable white head. Unleashes fantastic aromas of piney, lime infused grass with lots of intriguing dankness, hints of herbs and peach pulp. So much going on, fresh weed is paired with kiwi, lemon peel and juicy orange cream. Reveals tangerine, coated up with resinous wet grass. Fantastic nose, located between a great fruitiness and pine. Drinks outstandingly smooth, while it begins with piney, zingy lemon, accompanied by bready, balancing malts. The malts though, while they blend very well into the dankness, play nothing but a supportive role, handling the fruity, bitter hop madness. Also invites a honeyed fruit note to the palate, containing kiwi, unripe orange and water melon, which perform outstandingly well together with the grassy pine. Finishes slighty dry, outstandingly bitter, with lots of dank citrus and water melon, punchlined by a floral honey note. Awesome beer, incredibly full of subtle hop flavors, while drinking extremely smooth and easy, with a unique, full taste. Blown away.
