Bottles courtesy of Padrefan98 and this one in particular shared by MiguelMandingo on BA. Pour is rich amber colored in a snifter with a smallish white head. Smell is piney, hoppy and fairly aromatic fresh hops chock full of resiny goodness. Taste is much of the same with hop flavors leaning towards piney and resiny with a moderate bitterness and ample malt backing to keep it pretty balanced. For an IPA, it is quite strong, but for a DIPA, I’d say it’s extremely drinkable. Very nice beer all around and thanks again for Mike for sharing this great beer!

Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. Incredibly full floral hop nose! A slightly hazy amber with just a bit of fizz. Salty start quickly gives way for the hop bitterness. The bitters take you for a long finish with sweet tones lingering at the tip of the tongue too. The name says it all! Delicious!

Sep 26, 2008 First off, I didn’t take notes when I tasted this beer. But it is quite memorable so hopefully that’ll be sufficient. From what I remember it was a fine clear light amber color. What was most outstanding was the amazing aroma that simply exploded with hoppy goodness. The body was nicely balanced with sweet maltiness and it finished as spectacularly as it started. This is a beautiful beer.

Sep 20, 2008 Bottle thanks to Hophead22, and shared with GMCC21821. Poured Clear gold in color. Aroma is very piney along with a floral scent. Taste is also lots of pine along with malt and slight bitterness. This was a very well balanced brew and finished clean.

Sep 20, 2008 Bottle shared by swolf3...Thanks wolf. Awesome aroma of piney hops. Color was a light yellow color, average head. Taste was a super smooth, well balanced IPA. Nice bitterness lots of pine flavor. Good west coast IPA. Good texture, average carbonation. thanks wolf.

Sep 15, 2008 Straight up West Coast hop monster. That’s why I bought it. Lots of citrus, very floral, probably better on tap than bottle, but what the hell. I live in Missouri. I have to rely on the bottle. Much smoother than some other West Coast IPAs, which is neither good nor bad. But a nice change of pace.
