4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from a 22oz bottle into a Dogfish Head Stemmed glass.
The color is a hazy dark orange with two fingers of foamy white head and some nice lacing left on the glass.
The smell is pretty piney and smells a bit like wet hops. Some nice citrus flavor is the background that is quite lemony in flavor and is a bit pithy.
The taste is bitter citrus hop flavor at first. There is a soft embrace of piney flavors with the hops in front and a nice malty flavor that finishes this beer off in the back. There is some interesting hits of sugary flavor that is a bit too sweet but overall the taste is really good.
The feel of this beet is medium bodied with some strong hop flavor that is strong but easy to handle. It goes down well and is just the right mix for a West Coast IPA.

Dimmig orange öl med ett smutsvitt skum. Doft av karamell, fruktighet och tallbarr. I smaken tillkommer grapefrukt och kåda i eftersmaken. Bra balans mellan sötma och beska.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Strong dry-hopped aroma of pine, spice and some citrus. It hits all marks, honestly. Not so bitter that it masks other flavors. Some earthiness and a mild sweetness. Decent color and weight.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy, bright golden coloured with a thin white head of foam. It has a very rich orange marmalade and pine flavour with smooth toffee notes and more warming orange on the finish. Superb!

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This beer had a lovely hop taste without a intense bite. The aroma of citrus greets you at first encounter. This beer is a delight, I’d recommend it to everyone.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. My first from this brewery. Orange and clear with a small head. Hoppy and floral with a medium body. Doesn’t taste as strong as it possibly should. Very pleasant but left me thinking why is it so highly rated?

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small bottle from Bottle Jockey in Burnaby. An orange amber beer with generous beige head and bitter-sweet fruity hop nose. Bitter citrus piney hops are up front, but closely mellowed by malted grains. Nicely balanced. Lingering bitter aftertaste. 4.1

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
355 ml bottle, bb 10 May 16, from Firma Bier. Thanks to Werckmeister!
Dark amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, slightly yellowish head.
Aroma with lots of citrus and pine, also grapefruit, passion fruit, pineapple, biscuit, some vanilla.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes perfectly smooth, medium bitter, quite dry, piney, citric, zesty, a bit malty.
Very tasty! Really surprising, even shortly past the best by date still crisp and hoppy, with wonderful citric and piney notes. Also perfectly balanced, with a lovely, smooth malt backbone and really easy for the ABV. World class DIPA, I’m really curious how much better this is fresh!
