COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A West Coast Double IPA So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a Dogfish Head Stemmed glass. The color is a hazy dark orange with two fingers of foamy white head and some nice lacing left on the glass. The smell is pretty piney and smells a bit like wet hops. Some nice citrus flavor is the background that is quite lemony in flavor and is a bit pithy. The taste is bitter citrus hop flavor at first. There is a soft embrace of piney flavors with the hops in front and a nice malty flavor that finishes this beer off in the back. There is some interesting hits of sugary flavor that is a bit too sweet but overall the taste is really good. The feel of this beet is medium bodied with some strong hop flavor that is strong but easy to handle. It goes down well and is just the right mix for a West Coast IPA.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a fizzy white head. Tastes like musky orange, sweet grapefruit, resin, caramel, and nutty hops. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like sweet orange, musky hops, grapefruit, some nutty caramel, and a hint of alcohol.

Bottle. Can’t believe I’ve never had this before. Pours a golden-orange color, clear. Very up front with the pine...for some reason I get a lot of pine in it. A little bit of the citrus but mostly pine. Just a really hop-heavy IPA. Nice beer.

Taster... Light gold with white head and lacing... Nice floral citrus and pine notes balanced with solid malt backbone. Warm and boozy finish ... Solid DIPA!

Perfect IPA from brewery at the source...perfect mouthfeel and great pine grass citrus aroma. Flavor brings out the hops as well. If you love hops as I do you will die whan you have this beer.

10/15/204. On tap at the brewpub. Deep amber with a white head. Loads of hops, caramel, pine and resin. A bit boozy, but the hops take over. It’s all about the hops.
