4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 hamilton23 (546) - Alpine, California, USA - OCT 20, 2012Growler fill from the brewery. Pours a hazy golden orange color with foamy white head. Aroma is dank hops and grain. Taste is hops, hops and then some more hops. There is also a decent malt backbone on this one too. Not sure why this is listed as an amber ale. It seems more like a pale ale to me.

Pours a clear deep golden color with an orange hue with a quickly evaporating white head. Lovely grapefruit nose. Mouthfeel is puffy, cottony, yet wet and scrubby. Grapefruit in spades. Finishes with a wonderful citrus bitterness. This is a glorious IPA.

From growler shared by GT2. Thanks buddy. Light hazy orange amber with small off white head. Nose is fresh citrus, resin, pine, light toffee, and butterscotch. Flavor is similar, like the millenium, a little overly sweet and buttery for my tastes, but I really think its an Alpine vs. me thing and I ain’t winning.

Growler courtesy of GT2, thanks! Hazy golden amber colir, fluffy white head. Aroma of grass, pineapple, scallions. Taste is butter grass and licorice. Nice.

Tap at Alpine. Clear deeper golden pour. Webby to sheety lacing. Nose is fresh dank hops, very intense, cherry, mango, squash, pithy melon. Taste is mango, lychee, cantaloupe, papaya, vanilla, butterscotch. A winner.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 nightrider (751) - encinitas, California, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Tasted at the brewery. Golden in color with some pure white head. Wow aroma full of lemon and tropical goodness. The Citra hops really shine here. Medium light body with good carbonation. Super fresh hop citrus presence with moderate hop bitter bite. Much superior beer to what I remember from the 2011 batch. Yummy.

This was sampled at the brewery. Light gold in color with a small head and lacing.. Full flavor in the upper mouth. This is an excellent everday ale. The waitress stated this was a wet hopped ale. Nice balance of bitterness and carmel malts. The ale had a smooth finish with average carbonation.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 BMan1113VR (7377) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 21, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a clear orange body and a small white head. Aromas are bready, caramel, grassy, citrus and lots of fruit. Flavors are citrusy, hoppy, tropical fruit, lightly dank. Malt profile is bready with a bit of caramel. Medium bodied, medium to slightly lively carbonation. Millennium Pale was quite a bit better, but this is still pretty solid.
