Picked up a six pack of cans during a day trip to New Brunswick while vacationing in Maine. Pours yellow gold with a fizzy white head that was chased away fairly quickly. Very light aroma of malt and grain. Flavor is light also with trace amounts of malt and hops. Not an objectionable brew, just not very flavorful.

cheap golden adjunct lager from Canada’s last national brewey, Moosehead...bargain beer at national premium prices..pretty much the cheapest brew on the east coast...fizzy...weak head, that won’t last, corny sweetness in the nose and weak body...light grainy tastes under the dextrin sweetness...harsh when served warmer.. with a dry finish...cheap beer that won’t kill you but there is lots better.

KingofCastle (206) - London, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2006
bottle: Gold coloured lager with thin white head. Very faint hops and malts. This beer is definitely CRISP. Perhaps to the point of erasing all flavour, mine might have been too cold, who knows. If you like clean, crisp lagers with no finish, this is good. If you are looking for a lager with more flavour avoid this baby.

LordBeamish (144) - Boozetown, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2006
bottle: Poured a classic lager gold with a slight white head. Faint hint of fruits and hops in the aroma. Tastes sweet on the palate and finishes very smooth with some fruit taste, possibly pear. A clean, fresh tasting lager. Thanks to my bro for bringing some home from NB.

Great brew from NB! Kicks the ass of all the other mass-produced Canadian lagers. Smooth and balanced, with a hint of fruit in the finish.

Eructoblaster (3120) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 27, 2006
On tap at officers’ mess, CFB Gagetown (NB). Golden body with average carbonation an a thin white foamy head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma that lacks complexity. Taste is dominated by corny flavors and carries metallic and CO2 notes. Aftertaste is almost non-existent. Absolutely boring.

Hand delivered from New Brunswick! Crisp thin gold lager with a head of moderate sized bubbles. Light grassy aroma with hints of South America, or was that the other way around. Not annoying to drink. A moderate sweetness but nothing too removed from normal for the style.

Can- Pale yellow pour avec a white and short lived bubbly top. Pretty standard grainy aroma, with faintest hops, corn, and sweet grass. Mildly bitter with lots of grain and corn in the finish. Just ok.

A typical blonde Canadian lager. A bit more flavour than its competition (Canadian and Blue) so it wins in a blind taste-off for Canadian style lagers, easily.
