Pale clear yellow, quickly dissappearing white head, no lacing. Aroma is way too weak, I have a mild cold, but I can smell nothing at all. Taste is also rather weak, though it has some nice subtle hoppiness which works well with the bready malts. Simple, uni-dimensional, better than Molson, but not by a whole lot. Bottle.

bottle. Poured clear yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of corn grains. Light body, crisp carbonation with a clean mouthfeel. Cereal grain flavour, pale malt with a slightly peppery hop note. Generic brew but non-offensive.

Bright straw color with a golden hue. White 3 finger head lasting around 3 minutes. Average legs and some high activity. Faint aromas and flavors of corn, grains, citrus and sugar. Unpleasant fake overwhelming sweetness. Light body with excessive carbonation. Clean and faint finish ending with a slightly smoky grainy bitter after taste. Overall : Quite bland with a overwhelming corny and sugary feel with passable freshness.

341ml Flasche. Klar und golden mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Leicht würzig. Mild. Durchschnittlicher Körper. Für ein Lager ganz gut.

This lager is watery and void of bitterness necessary to give me any "Ahh" or "Ohhh. It is not far off and certainly not terrible. Canadian beer can be so much better.

They tell me this is the taste of the east coast... I say the east coast tastes pretty plain eh. Another mass made lager and one should stick to Moosehead cause you get a bit of malt flavor.

Watery, thin, light corn, faint hop extract, inoffensive, drinkable macro lager, perfect lawnmower beer.

Yeah I guess it’s refreshing on a hot summer, but that’s about the only positive thing you could say about this bland generic kind of beer. And what about a beer from flat New Brunwick being named Alpine Lager...

Lots of people tend to shit on this style of beer, a cheap local macro style, but I really feel like you can do worse. I don’t mind it, ice cold, on a hot summer day.

473 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear light golden with a smallish white head. Aroma: Sweet and grainy, maybe a little light grassy/green hops. Palate: Medium body and medium+ carbonation. Flav.: Like the nose – clean graininess, lightly sweet, minimal hop presence; dry with low bitterness and a light, clean finish.

Boring, but well-made.
