| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Pours a translucent brown orange with a thin white head. Aroma is toasty malt, light hops, and a little bit of a metallic note. Flavor is biscuity, bready malt, a little nutty, and a mildly bitter hop finish. Also a little watery, but very refreshing. Quite a decent Oktoberfest beer. Bier brauen (219), Bremerton, Washington, USA

Of all the Oktoberfest beers at the festival, this was the best. Just like the commercial description. Isn’t fall a great time for beer! glkaiser (1182), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2008 Biscuit malt mixes nicely with moderate caramel and brown sugar. More than your-average-Oktoberfest’s hop finish, but still on with the style. Very solid and enjoyable. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 26, 2008 Bomber. Pours clear copper with a thick and lacy pale orange head. Aroma of biscuit, brown sugar and malt; you know the stuff inside malted milk balls? That’s it. Medium body and carbonation. Lightly sweet taste of bread, caramel, filberts. Fairly crisp and just vaguely hoppy finish. I can see why it wouldn’t be too hard to sit around in lederhosen, and watch barmaids showing a ton of cleavage while you pound a bunch of this beer. Damn. I finished the bomber while writing this. I guess I need to learn to type faster. jcwattsrugger (5583), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
