Bottle, bought at the brewery souvenir shop, Alpirsbach. Malty, hopbitter flavor with a touch of vanilla. Medium bodied. Hint of licorice. The aftertaste gives bitter in the mouth. Tasty, this helles.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger (testparti). ABV is 5.4%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Fresh aroma of German hops, floral and herbal notes. Crisp and herbal flavour of German hops, with a very moderate malty sweetness in the background. Highly drinkable.

Bottle by 24.06.12. Very bright, happily citric and grassy nose, pours and unclouded golden with a fizzy white head. Taste is juicy and quenching, only somewhat sweet and feels well-attenuated, there’s good hop bite for a Helles (with perceptible bitterness, which is always nice) and just enough from the simple malt for a fine balance. Light-medium body with a few sheets to shift through and a nice, bright malty finish and a flash of alcohol under the floral layer. A winner.

Pours golden with a big long lasting white head. Good malty caramel aroma. Light sweet malty taste, fresh cut grass, darker fruits towards the end, ends with a good portion of noble hops.

Golden, medium headed Dortmunder with a spicy flavour. Intensive matly and dry beginning. Some hops in the middle (herbs and floral taste). creamy texture with a quite long lasting taste at the end. enjoyable!

Leicht würziger Antrunk, der ins Herbe übergeht. Dabei wird das Bier leicht süß, bleibt aber vordergründig herb und etwas getreidig. Im Abgang leicht karamellig, im Großen und Ganzen bleibt das Aroma des Mittelteils erhalten. Nicht sondelrich tiefgründig aber durch moderate Abstimmung von Würze und Hopen sehr süffig.

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer with medium head that goes quickly. Aroma is dry, very bitter with a peppery hops profile, body is less complex.

Bottle. Lightly sweet cherry malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet light cherry malt and mildly bitter grass hops flavor. Light but pretty tasty.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and minimal off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly syrupy and strawy malty aroma with notes of grassy and herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Strawy malty taste with present herbal and slightly grassy hops, especially towards the moderately dry and bitter-sweet finish. 18.VI.10

Clear light to medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, toasted, hard straw, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091113]
