L: -pours a hazy golden with a big,frothy,white head -high carbonation visible S: -earthy,grassy,spices (Clove&pepper),honey,biscuits,lemons T: the nose exactly F: -medium-high carbonation,medium body O: The best Kellerbier/Zwickel i’ve had so far. Very unique too since its a cuvee of a bottom-fermented Kellerbier (85%) and a top-fermented one (15%)

Vielen Dank an kevnic2008.

Bon corps . Pas mal pour ce style

50cl bottle bb12/2014, local Edeka. In many respects the more interesting seasonal nephew to A’s regular "Spezial" offering, sharing the same pleasant natural hop profile: peppery, earthy, with some citrus. The appeal in this beer is its subtle mixed fermentation plus the mixed use of barley and wheat malt, producing some hazy Kölsch-like fruit flavours while remaining relatively lean and typically A.-dry and almost woody, great attenuation. Given this wild bill (according to DE norms) the result is still fairly subtle, or putting it less elegantly: shy and modest, in aromatics and mouthfeel. Quietly enticing beer from a quality brewery nevertheless...Will revisit.

Aroma: citric, yeasty, banana Appearance: pale, hazy Taste: medium sour, medium sweet, slightly bitter Palate: abrupt finish, soft carbonation Not an ale, not a blonde, not a koelsch - something inbetween

0,5l fles tijdens proefavond biergilde hoorn. Goudgeel met een beperkte witte schuimkraag. Geur met gist biscuit licht citrus. Smaak is beetje hop verder weinig. Erg vlak droog mondgevoel. Niets bijzonders.

Light orange colour, cloudy, moderate smooth white head; light fresh malty aroma; tastes predominantly malty, with a subtle fruity - peach / satsuma - character; just a little welcome spice; yet another subtle, unshowy but effortlessly drinkable German beer; most enjoyable.
