My third from this brewery, this Pilsener (not a German Pils?) has a pale yellow body with a bazillion tiny bubbles rushing up to support a two-fingered pillowy head. The nose has a sturdy underlying sweetness, but what I mainly get is a grassiness with a soft touch of earth. It tastes of sweetened white bread, wet grass, and a moderate bitterness. That grassy/earthy bitterness, while not strong, lingers long into the dry finish. Pretty decent.

33cl bottle. BB 04.07.2014. Slightly hazy golden, thick white head. Grainy, grassy hoppy aroma. Flavor is grassy, mild fruity, hay, malt. Dry, slightly bitter finish. Refreshing, well made pils.

500ml bottle. Pours a classic filtered yellow-tan. Big frothy white head, steady. Grassy noble hops and classic brewhouse aroma. Pretty solid Pils, perhaps a touch lighter that some of its German brethren. Biting dry hops and a very clean malt backbone. Quite an enjoyable beer.

Bottled. Pours clear pale golden in color with a whitish head. Garden fruityness or perhaps more like some earthyness and floral notes in aroma. Straw and light malty sweetness in taste at first. Light bitterness towards the finish as well.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of metals, grains and some mild bready notes. Flavour of metals, strong grainy notes, mild grass and hay. Light bodied and hard carbonation. Not that fresh, I’m afraid.

Aroma: citric, weakly yeasty, bread Appearance: pale, healthy clear urine color Taste: medium sweet, slightly bitter, slightly sour Palate: abrupt finish, soft carbonation Too sweet and citric for the style, conforms to the other beers of the brewery

This is a tasty pils w/ an old timey label featuring a monk. This means it is everything you want in a pilsner minus drinking it by the mass in a springtime biergarten. This pours a perfectly clear golden color with a nice looking but relatively short lived head of mixed bubbles. The nose doesn’t really impress me that much, just a bit of yeast dough and and some herbal hops but this is an exceptionally crisp and drinkable beer regardless. It’s dry but still has a soft malt presence which is emphasized by gentle carbonation and it finishes clean on the tongue w/ some lingering bitterness and a touch of lemon zest. As it warms, a bit of sweetness develops and it takes on a mouth-filling quality while still staying nice and light on the palate. This is really a great example of a difficult style to nail. Find some time to enjoy one if you like beer.

Bottle from pivnizub, many thanks. Light golden color with medium white head. Strong malty aroma with bitter hops. Malty taste followed by hoppy bitterness. Dry hoppy bitter finish. OK, standard Gernan Pils.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Pils mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, grasig. Geschmack herb, grasig, minimal würzig.
