Bottle 33cl. Clear golden brew with dense white foam. Nice hoppy nose, decent malty body. Very drinkable due to good water. Good pilsener.

Draft @ Berlin beer festival 2011.

My Bottom Line :
Grassy hops and crisp straw-like malts serve this balanced German Pils well, but biting carbonation’s mineral edge tends to render it tiring.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A tuft of foam recedes into a slice on top of the clear golden.
-This is as drinkable as any other super clean German Pils.
-The flavor profile is subtle throughout with no standouts.
-This is well-crafted, but nothing special personality-wise.

On tap at the kiosk in front of Hotel Schwarzwalder Hof, in Freiburg.

Pale blond color. The aroma is very anonymous. The flavor in the beginning is forgettable as well, but at least with a light hop trace; the final goes back to limbo.

500 ml bottle in Germany. Pours a gold yellow color. Aromas of grass, earth, and lots of hops. Flavor is typical southern German pilsner, Palate leaves you a dry slighlty bitter then turns sweet aftertaste. Ok

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2011 On tap @ brewery. A clear yellow beer with good head. Nose is malty, aroma is nutty and maly with a very nice hops bouquet, especially at finish where the bitterness do remains long time, slightly fruity and sweet, a good pilsener.

500ml bottle! The beer is slightly cloudy, the head decays very fast.Starts very spicy, slightly lemony. Sadly, the aftertaste is too much acidic and sourish. The middle part stays well balanced hoppy, but the cruel aftertaste stays...

Bottle. Light yellow, very small and fully diminishing head. Light malty and sweetish aroma with light grain, faint notes of grassy hoppyness. Body is light to moderate, malty and lightly sweetish flavor with light grassy hoppyness. Finish is short, malty and dryish. Quite light bodied pils with nice dryish finish.

This beer has some real sharpness in a lingering bitter finish, with huge hay and sourdough bread notes. Huge flavor. Very nicely light-colored bright gold, snappy head initially, then settles in laciness and froth. The aroma is fresh grasses all the way. This is an aggressively hopped beer all the way around, and raw too. No the driest beer, ultimately, but very good.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and eggs as well as lighter notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel as well as lighter notes of eggs.
