This has a splendid hefeweizen pour, a hazy yellow body with tall creamy head that settles in chunks. The aroma is warm bread, a touch of lemon zest, and a trace of bubblegum. The flavor is more wheaty, tangy, with some soft fruit traces. The finish is lightly tart. Nothing exceptional here, but a refreshing change of pace.

500ml bottle. Cloudy thick yellow-tan body meets a massive white head. Fast rising carbonation bubbles. Yeasty, sweet aroma, mild banana tinge. Rather delicious Hefe, pretty solid for the style. Light and fluffy medium body. Creamy yeast notes. Good.

[Bottle] Pours a murky light orange color with a ton of white foam on top. Aromas of banana, clove, light bubblegum and wheat malt. Taste includes light vanilla and sweet fruit esters in addition to the notes mentioned in the aroma. Average body for the style. Good stuff.

From a bottle in a shakee. Great cloudy yellow appearance. Flavors are bold bready and crisp yet creamy. Very good, but not quite exceptional Hefe. Should be more well known.

This is a big juicy hefe and that’s how I like ’em. It pours a very cloudy golden yellow with a small but long lasting head of very fine bubbles. Bread yeast and cloves dominate the nose but the creamy texture and sight sweetness really bring out the banana flavors. This is very much a full bodied beer but zesty carbonation keep it from feeling too heavy. It finishes with some lingering sweetness, a touch of bitterness and a slight lemon zest note. This is a must try for fans of the style.
