3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, - NOV 21, 2009
(bottle, 33cl) Clear, ruby brown colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and robust toasty malty aroma with notes of caramel, candy, a tinge of spicy hops and alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Solid malty base, moderately toasted taste with caramel, light crusty notes and herbal accents; the initial malty corpus is drying and slimming out towards the moderately sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Quite rounded and not too fat dark Bock. 21.XI.09
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2011
Bock? Wo? 8/8/9/9/8/8

Bottle. Beautifull dark red chestnut, golden foam. Spicy and herbal molassis aroma. Sweet base, light apple and citruspeel, coriander. Fitting hop balance and fine sparkly dry mouthfeel disolves the sweetnes. Easy to drink Bock.
