Spicy wheat-like aroma from the spelt with some phenolicy clove notes. Cloudy brownish-yellow with a dense white cover and nice lace. This beer tastes like the best American Wheat I’ve tried--it’s a clean, German lager, made with spelt. Spicy flavour, from the specialty grain, no doubt, that finishes with a very pleasant malty sweetness. Nice use of flavour hops blended with the sweetness, and almost crip with perfectly balanced bittering. Very impressive. Generous carbonation, medium to light body, residual bitter tang in the finish, sort of like in a rye-containing beer.
