500ml bottle. Clear dark amber with small frothy white head. Grainy aroma, minimal caramel note. Monotonous taste takes more from particulate matter than dissolved ingredients. Subtle sweetness, dry husk taste. No highlight.

Clear medium amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - grey notet head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, keller, light roasted, earty notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120211]

Malzig-süßer Geruch. Trockener Antrunk, etwas herb, kaum malzig. Erst später kommt ein malziger, leider aber auch plumper Abgang zustande.

(draught at Haus Gobbrecht, Dortmund) Clear, brown colour with a short light-beige foamy head. Slightly sweet malty nose with light notes of caramel and a shy tinge of herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated, slightly crispy mouthfeel. Soft cara-malty taste, minimal toastywith a faint herbal hoppy blend; moderately dry and slightly bitter and toasty finish. Absolutely inoffensive and a bit boring Dunkel (24.05.08).
