Bottle. Orange brown color, hazy. Aroma has orange and bubblegum. Sweetish flavor with orange, a slight yeasty bitterness, bubblegum, pineapple and some flowery hops. Comes close to the Kommunbrauhaus Zoigls, in flavor and almost in quality. Is however a bit too sweet and too polished.

bottled. lightly hazed golden amber; simple caramel aroma with hints of passionfruit vine; somewhat nutty wth hints of sugar-coated almonds and a tinny finish; not a great example of the style

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, dusty, caramel, light to moderate yeasty, apple. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, apple notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20111126]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Rustic caramellish and yeasty nose. Medium body, a little caramel again, quite fruity with a decent hooping. Solid. 261111

Bottle. It’s more or less clear, with quite a few microfloaties in suspension. Dark golden to light amber in color and with a small, off-white head. Caramel and fruits on the nose. Definitely not unpleasant, but unusual. The flavor has a distinct apple and pear touch, with some caramel maltyness in the back. Not much bitterness going on neither initially nor in the finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. A quite decent beer, one that I bet would be better fresh from the source. 111126

Bottle @ FOneFan. Slightly hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel and a little hop. Flavour is malt, fruit, caramel, medium sweet, little grainy, hops and little bitter.

Bottle @ Early Winter season 11/12 Part. 3, Ulfborg. Pours cloudy copper with a small creamy head. Sweet crackers, caramel and grass. Medium bodied. Simple and tasty leaning to the sweet malty side.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy amber color with small head. Sweet worty and berryish aroma with hint of apple. Sweetish, worty, toffeish and bready flavor with some caramel, hint of grass and low bitterness. Rounded oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Tastes slightly stale, does not have that fresh maltiness I often like in these kind of beers.

Dark copper colored with little yellow head. Chocolate and cardboard with thin hops. Medium bodied. Flavor is even more cardboardy with burnt tones, some grassy tones also here.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wood, fruits and mild notes of berries. Flavour is quite much the same along with some caramelly notes.

Tnx Timo A.. Pale amber color, small steady white head. Sweetish malty, a bit grassy hoppy nose. Sweetish, honeyish flavor, some grassy hoppyness. Almost a bit heller bock-like sweet maltyness. Of course this is Zoigl only by name.
