On tap @ HopYard in Pleasanton during SF Beer Week (locals only). Big Imperial Red DIPA. Clear, reddish brown, small creamy head. Initial taste of a hoppy NoCal DIPA (pine, resin), a very clean, fresh taste from my hometown, but then malt and some heaviness come in and balance it out. Great for an 8.5% but a little full in the body. Would love a growler of this from the brewery.

Draft @ The Office on 1/23/15. Pours amber in color with minimal head. Aroma is strongly caramel, malt with some floral, citrus, and pineapple. Mouthfeel is medium to thin. Flavor is floral, citrus, grapefruit peel, malty, carmel with a lingering heavy bitterness. Not a particularly balanced offering, nor did I get the dankness that I would expect from the name "ganja juice."

Stinkbomb! Super floral hop with a less-syrup and a smoothness brought in by the malt of the red. A very nice balance but definitely on the heavier side still. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ 10 East - Not quite a IIPA or what I would call an IIPA, more like an IPA and a 1/2. A sweet caramel aroma, showing some earthiness, grapefruit and some light pine. Flavor equal the aroma nearly note for note and the bitterness on the finish is long and enjoyable. A nice beer and I didn’t get any of the "ganja" aspect of it, as I do with many other beers (like Firestone/Green Flash). Not bad though.

On tap @ Beer Revolution. Amber pour with a white head. Nose is quite heavy on the fruity hops. Lots of grapefruit, pineapple, and peach. A bit of sweet caramel, some pine, and a floral note. Flavor is a touch on the sweet side, but decent bitterness on the back end. Pineapple, peach, and lots of citrus. Some grapefruit and pine bitterness. Definite caramel malt character throughout. Could be a bit more dry, but okay.

Tasted on tap at the 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/9/2013. This Imperial IPA pours a medium amber gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of piney, floral and citrusy. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Decent carbonation. Nice balance. Medium bitterness IPA. A touch of orange and tropical at the finish. Nice beer. A mouthfeel is full and round. The finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
