3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ HopYard in Pleasanton during SF Beer Week (locals only). Big Imperial Red DIPA. Clear, reddish brown, small creamy head. Initial taste of a hoppy NoCal DIPA (pine, resin), a very clean, fresh taste from my hometown, but then malt and some heaviness come in and balance it out. Great for an 8.5% but a little full in the body. Would love a growler of this from the brewery.

On tap @ Beer Revolution. Amber pour with a white head. Nose is quite heavy on the fruity hops. Lots of grapefruit, pineapple, and peach. A bit of sweet caramel, some pine, and a floral note. Flavor is a touch on the sweet side, but decent bitterness on the back end. Pineapple, peach, and lots of citrus. Some grapefruit and pine bitterness. Definite caramel malt character throughout. Could be a bit more dry, but okay.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft. Muted sweet hops aroma, at first the taste is just bitter hops and then the weird ganja characteristics come through. They made a pretty decent weed beer, but not that amazing beer in general.
