2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 kmeves (1098) - Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 20, 2003
Mildly hopped even for the style. A bit of a skunky aroma. Blond colored. Medium mouthfeel. I've heard the brewery's other beers are much better.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mads Langtved (2246) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2003
Green tea notes and very bitter. This pils requieres a lot of water to wash it down with. Otherwise you will have the nasty bitterness in your mouth for at least a couple of days.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Hildigöltur (5106) - København, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2003
Light colour with quite good head. Neutral pilsener aroma. The flavour is very hoppy and crisp and the aftertaste is very bitter.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - APR 2, 2003
Grainy and malty aroma. Golden, white head, good lace. Some bitterness, light herbal and tea, bit thin, kind of plain. More bitter in the finish, dry and certainly tea.
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 austinpowers (2827) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 30, 2003
Hmm. One would think this was an herb beer from its name, however, the Sailer website doesn't list any herb as an ingredient. Therefore, it's impossible to explain the nasty bitter (perhaps herbal?) flavor other than to say that the beer just mega crisp, bitter and certainly an acquired taste. Frothy head looks great but fades fast. This brewery's Jubel and Altenmunster Premium are sensational.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 motelpogo (5530) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 29, 2003

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 nigos (623) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2003
Earth and nut aroma. Usual pils appearance. Nutty taste quite hoppy but slightly watery. Not keen on the after taste at all.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RobBestwick (583) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 6, 2003
Pours with a big frothy head, pale amber hue, hoppyish nose, hoppy with nutty undertones, reasonable lacing, good pils.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 ultraspank (867) - Alverca, Lisboa, PORTUGAL - JAN 24, 2003
Yeasty nose of barn, perfume, flowers, and subtle cereal malt. Pours from the bottle a light golden with small particles. The average fluffy white head that is mostly lasting with fair lacing. The brew is balanced and light with low acidity. The finish is malty and sweet. The light and lively body is watery and finishes clean.
