Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Nice golden colour with steady, airy head. Very spicy taste of strong hops, pepper, chives and offers some hearty and complex finish.

Shared a 50cl bottle. Pours a clear yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is hay and malty. Average carbonation and light watery body, Taste is slightly more bitter than sweet. Overall, an average beer.

Clear yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma and taste is that of most German beers. Nothing special, just a decent beer. (Velp 201401)

Bottled. Aroma is not very interesting, not too much herbs and hops. Appeared not enough amber, looks almost like a water. Tastes very light and a bit sweet. But palate is good enough, medium body, finish is bitter.

Snygg och förtroendegivande flaska. Tyvärr motsvarar inte innehållet flaskan. Tunn och ganska smaklös lager i tysk tradition.

Bottle. Light golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, faint fruitiness and light grassy hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, faint fruitiness and light hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light grassy - herbal hoppyness. OK helles, not too sweet - nothing special.

Ah, the last beer of the pub crawl, at the apparently legendary Bolschoi in Marburg, a very specific place to say the least. Didn’t expect to find anything rateable, but to my surprise, this popped up. Golden body I guess. Light crappy herbal/vegetable aroma. Turns out to by an ordinary lager, dry, somewhat husky, with some vague hopiness in the aftertaste. The hopiness IS slightly more interesting than the norm, vaguely fruity for a second, so it might be just a touch more interesting than the usual golden dross that’s served around. Yay for that.

Clear, pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of malt, hay, light hops. Malty flavour. Light sweet, light bitter flavour. Malty finish, quite bitter, light lemon grass.
Another lager. Not really ’Hopfig Herb’ I would say. But well..

Bottle shared with McTapps. Another simple lager with nothing special in. A bit malt and a bit hops. Aroma ? Yeah, maybe.
