swing top bottle (500ml). -Very pale yellow coloured, medium to big airy white head, few streams of carbonation. Skunky barnyard nose. Not so bitter as I’ve expected. Some mild touch of herbs, decent hoppy and moderate malty. Drinkable but nothing special here.

Bottle, 50 cl. Clear pale with a frothy, mostly stable white head. Aroma is malty - bread, hay, grain - with a herbal grassy hop note. Light to medium sweet in the mouth with grassy, slight citric hops and a medium bitter finish. Ok body, ok carbonation, ok German lager.

Usual flip-top half litre bottle (3 days after its best before date ended): poured three times into a Veltins badged stemmed tulip on 3rd Jan 2012. Really pale yellow body, clear and bright on each pour, a good looking full head of white bubbles sat on top on each glass too. Not a lot of smell, some corn type aromas, maybe hay? Gets my regular score of 3 for a non-smelling lager/pilsner style beer. Not a lot of taste either, the sort of beer to wash a hot curry down with but not to plan an evening around. Faint hop extract flavour, no malts to be found, bland really. The beer isn’t bad, but it isn’t even a good example of a German Pilsner: it’s just a delicate brew with not a lot of strong ingrediants to get excited about. Maybe I’m missing something, but this beer didn’t do it for me.

Swing-top by 08.12. Touch of grass and some citrus, touch of malt, but not much in the nose. Pours a dull yellow-golden with a frothy off-white head. Light but pleasant bitterness, (d)evolves into a papery scratchiness, herbal with low citrus and little bite. Malt is hidden under a thin layer of dirt. Very soft, low-carb light-medium body but the mineral-free water and bitterness work better here than in a Jever. Passable.

Bottle. Pale Yellow with a very nice whitehead at start, but diminished quickly and keep a light lacing. Aroma is malty and hoppy, hints of yeast, bitter flavor hints of corn and cereal. Mouthfeel is bitter with long duration!! Nice one!

(Flasche) Es hat eine sehr, sehr helle gelbe Farbe, es ist klar filtriert mit weißer Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist süßlich mit herben Hopfen, sonst nichts. Geschmacklich ist es schlank, leicht süßlich, sirupartig und der Hopfen ist erkennbar. Bittere ist kaum vorhanden. Zusammengefasst ist mir das Bier recht egal.

A pretty boring beer. A ok hoppy flavor but not much else in terms of flavor. Light yellow in color with a white head.

Golden color with stable white head. Malty aroma. Spicy flavor with mutch bitterness.

Good looking and good-in-the-mouth not very pale lager... It tastes good, an average German.

From a 330 ml bottle. Golden with a medium head. Nice aromas of flowery hops. Devent bitterness when drinking, but only a few interessting other tastes. Medium body, lively carbonization. Good to drink.
