Tried this beer at the Mortensens in 2009 in Grasten. Mild and drinkable but otherwise unremarkable.

Bottle. Light in colour and taste. Watery, slightly sour. Metallic, bitter and dry finish. Becomes a little better while drinking it.

Pale urine color, thick foamy white head. Almost no aroma, and not much taste. Disappears from the mouth quite quickly.

Golden coloured. Decent lasting white head. Is light spicy and sweet in the aroma. Aroma is quite malty and light, flowery hop flavour and mild bitterness, medium bodied.

So easy to drink. Very fresh, true German Lager.

Appearance: Clear golden color with big white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Malty and light hoppy.
Palate: Medium light body. Slightly sweet and a light bitterness. Average carbonation. Dry texture
Taste: Caramel malt and a bit hoppy flavor.
Overall impression: Unusual dull German lager.

Pours a light golden color witha big head that fades to lots of lacing. Fairly mild aroma of some malt sweetness, grain and a bit of citrus. Taste of a subtle malt sweetness with a touch of honey. Mild bitterness and adry finish. Fairly light body and smooth, with a decent balance. Pleasant beer that goes down easy. Nothing fancy just a nice solid lager.

16.02.2013. 0,5l Swingtop Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a tall white head. Very dry beer. Thin body. Weak flavours of malt. Dry bitter aftertaste. Refreshing tasteless beer with good dry fresh bitterness.

Flasche mit McTapps verköstigt. Etwas dünn, leicht säuerlich mit einer leicht fruchtigen Note und etwas wie Sauerkraut (?) im Hintergrund. Beginnt dünn, schließt aber leicht bittersüß und recht voll ab. Trinkbar.

I already drank some beers from this brewery and honestly I have to say, that they look -just from the bottle- all the same. It is so hard to draw a line between them. This one comes in a light brown colour with steady head and medium body Taste of barley, malt, grains, sesame and hay. Easy to drink and probably the best Altenmünster beer until now.

Openned with a punch of air, first bottle aroma’s remind me of a heinikin ?
Poured into a lager glass, head is very fizzy,
appears pale, clear, white foam,
First sip -
Head retention fades quickly after first sip.
medium sweetness, lightly bitter, soft carbonation, Dry finish.
Best thing about this beer is keeping the bottle, Apart from that the taste isn’t really anything I’ll remember.
