This one is one of my personal favorites. Fine and stable head. In fact it’s not really a pilsner because it’s only slightly hopped(Lagerbier). Fine malt-spicy flavor with a nice spicy finish. Overall flavour is very fine and needs some attention to really enjoy. Fans of double bocks avoid!

A very drinkable lager with that little extra complexity that makes it stand out. Better than the sum of its character. I also love the bottle.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2007 Was surprised. Was given a six pack complete with a cutesy little truck of diffent types. This was a very pleasant surprise. Question it being placed as a pilsner. Subtle, with a very nice balance and mouthfeel. Wish I could get another.

slightly hazy golden colour with almost no foam; strong herbal and spicy hoppiness; medium-bodied, some sweetness soon followed by a long herbal finish - character and balance, a nice beer

Swing-top bottle. Honey malt and grassy hops aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate white head. Sweet honey malt flavor with lightly bitter grassy hops finish. Very tasty.

Bottled, 500ml swing top from Lorne, many thanks. Gold with white head. Fresh, herby beer with a background vanilla flavour. Pleasant thyme and sweet basil hints, fullish malty body with good depth then a lemony note to finish it off. Very pleasant.

Smooth-malty in the beginning. Freshly hopped with a nice grainy-worthy aroma. Very nice and fresh, slightly bitter and easy to drink.
Nice brew! 12/12/11/11

Live rating. 500ml bottle from Aldi served cold in a large lager glass. Metallic lemon aroma. Bright golden body with a dense fluffy white head. Floral hops and bready malt. Medium bodied, pleasantly bitter-sweet with a hint of sourness in the finish. Lively carbonation. I was a bit underwhelmed to begin with, but as I worked my way down the glass, I began to appreciate it as another good example of what the Germans mass produce best. An extra point for the nice stoppered bottle.
