Extremely pale and clear, not particularly strong head retention. Aroma is quite malty with hints of durum or semolina flour (seriously!) Flavour is not very strong, little malt but with a subtle mineral water characteristic, and light, flowery hop flavour and mild bitterness which stands out due to the lack of malt flavour.

September 2008, from BA: Brown flip-top bottle holding 0.5 litres of a golden yellow beer which I poured into a Berliner Kindl 0.5 litre straight sided glass.
The beer looked fine, clear and wholesome, a fair sized clean white head sat on top of the glowing liquid, hoped it tasted as good as it looked.
Odourless, normal pilsner/lager/helles nothingness. Am I the only person on BA who struggles to pontificate about these styles of beers aromas? It gets my standard lager score of 3.
Maybe I wasn’t thirsty enough, maybe I wasn’t hot enough. This was just a normal German light beer to me. OK, it was soft, clean and smooth tasting, but it was nothing special in any aspects. Nothing made it stand out from the crowd (apart from the bottle design).

Just how I like my lager. Crisp, slightly bitter and refreshing with a light carbonation.

Bottle 0,5l BB 10.2012. Pale yellow clear body with white tight head. Aromas are hops , malts, grains, some herbs. Palate slick thin medium bodied with smooth carbonation and mouthfeel. Taste is sweet malty. Aftertaste sweet malts and medium short hops finish. Overall mild beer, balanced and drinkable.

Enjoyed from bottle while eating at Germania restaurant in Frankfurt, Germany while driving a contractor friend back to the airport. I can’t remember this one too much, it was an average German lager, decent, certainly better than any American lager (with exception of Metropolitan Brewery). Not bad, served in a cool plastic cup/glass.

Aroma: Grass (not very nice), honey, earth, a funny note remniscent of loukoumades.
Mouthfeel: Medium and very smooth. Very still.
Taste: Definitely malty, like honey and dough. Some grassy hops.
Finish: Slightly bitter, spicy and dry.
Overall: Good. Very very drinkable, due to its smooth and dry character.

Bottled. Pale golden color with a nice white head. Aroma of yeast, herbal hops. Medium bodied, corn malt and some sweet tastes, Mouthfeel is bitter. long duration. good one!

Pale orange beer with a weak and frothy white head. Light malty aroma with a fruity hint. Sweet taste, somewhat bland malty flavour. There is a secondary citrusy flavour which gives the taste a zesty lift in the finish.

Pours golden with a medium head. The smell reminds on grain, malt, flowers. Also quite grainy/malty taste with a low to medium level of bitterness. Medium bodied, creamy at the palate.
